I picked up a new PM9 with night sights today at the local gun show for $669. I had considered buying one six months ago when I first got my CCW, but decided on the P380 at that time.

I have been having second thoughts ever since, and today rectified that issue. As it happened, a new gun range (Shoot Straight of West Palm) opened up the street from the gun show so I decided to try both my new purchase as well as a new range. I had planned to clean and prep the gun first but couldn't resist.

I shot a hundred rounds Federal ball with no problems whatsoever. By contrast, my P380 had several issues from the begining, which have since sorted themselves out with the help of a Dremel tool and new recoil springs.

I cleaned and prepped the PM9 when I got home. I am very happy with the new member of the family!

yes indedd when they work great it just leaves a good tase in ones mouth. Like buying a $40 steak. If the steak is great thent he price is irrelevant but if it is bad a $1 steak is not worth it.

The P380 are alittle finiky but sure glad you got it running right as they are onehell of a shooter IMO. and top quality. It is themost accurate 380 I have ever shot or owned . but I carry my PM9 24/7..

I switched to the P380 after shooting the PM9 and I am far more accurate with the little gun. I will never be a great marksman but the tiny Kahr makes me look good. I hope that I can get to the same level with the 9mm.

One of the bonuses of having both guns is that I have already bought a crapload of holsters and mag pouches for the 380, trying to find the perfect setup, and some of them fit the 9mm fine. I think I just need to order a couple standard 6rd magazines and I'm good.

I think the P380 is the best .380 around ... very reliable, & so small there's hardly ever a reason not to have it with ya;) The PM9 isn't much bigger ... I believe it's the smallest 9MM that shoots as well as a big one.:D ... I may be biased a lil bit, I love these lil pistols; never found anything better ;)
