Hi all,

Just got a new pm9 today. The trigger pull is very smooth however I get a small click about 1/3 of the way through the pull. It sounds like the trigger spring is brushing up against something. Is this normal?

Thanks guys,

Matt.

It doesn't sound normal to me, but dry fire it a bunch before doing anything. Mine had a very little hitch in the beginning of the trigger pull when i first got it. It went away after less than a hundred dry fires.

Okay I figured out the source of the "click" sound. It's the trigger bar spring. The end of the spring (towards the back of the frame) is resting on the left face of the trigger bar. It only make the noise after I pull the trigger, if the gun is not cocked.

my newish (~600 rounds) pm9 does the same thing. very annoying to have in an otherwise great trigger.

very simple fix, just put some gun grease on that area where the spring and the trigger bar are making contact. It will stop that. You can also from the top of the frame buy looking down with some fine sand paper just polish that little area where the spring rides and it will stop. We had anoother poster come here witht the same thing and either one of those fixes solved his clicking thing. It will go away in time to but evidently there is alittle burr/snag or what ever and grease in that area will take care of it.
