Not really. Took my wife to the range the other day and she fell in love with my PM9 that I just bought used last month. We are moving back home to Pennsylvania where she wants to get her license to carry a concealed weapon. I told her that the PM9 was my CCW, guess what she told me? Get another this one is mine. She is a retired Pennsylvania State corrections officer, so I said, “YES DEAR“.;) I’ll feel better if she has access to a weapon, so next month it looks like I’ll be in the market for another Kahr. Don’t think I can afford a new PM9 so I’m thinking maybe a CW9 or if I can find one I’ll take a look at the new CM9.
Any suggestion?

So,you had something that she liked and she took it away from you and told you to get another one.Hmmm.Her maiden name wasn`t Robinson by any chance was it? She sure sounds a good bit like my bride. They may be related. Then again,it may be a genetic thing consistent with the female species. At any rate, good luck on your search for a new handgun.

As I frequently have been told: "in marriage, what's mine is hers, and what's hers is hers."

I love getting a full 3 finger grip on the P/CW series it's really not all that much bigger and it makes a big difference for me personally on follow up shots. Regardless, you essentially have a license to steal now. Use this as an excuse to replace it with whatever you darn well please. It's a win-win she got what she wanted now you get whatever will make you happy.

I agree your in a pretty good spot in some ways. Might cost a bit to feed her habit. (hopefully) but you get to shop again.
It's be a bit but I'm curious what that new CM9's gonna be like. I suspect even when they hit the street theres gonna be a backlog for awhile so the wait might be just to unbearable.

Same thing happened with my wife. I bought a very nice used PM9 from a friend and my wife latched onto it very quickly. I ended up buying a second one for myself.

That's what I'd suggest to do, Old Salt, get a second PM9. No reason to "settle" for a CW9 or a CM9 - the "boss" gave the green light, go for it!

So is the moral of this story "never let your wife see your PM9"?

Maybe it's "show her the CM9 (when purchased) and after she claims it, then show her the PM9".

Mine would probably take them both and tell me to stick close, she'll protect me or use me for a shield. Probably more the latter.

Or to live vicariously through you. I really want a PM45, but there is no way I'm going to be able to get one anytime soon, having just purchased a PM9 (which I also really wanted and very much enjoy). So, maybe you can buy a PM45, and then regale me (us) with tales of shooting range fun.

LOL! you sure she won't take your second one just in case she wants a BUG?
The ladies seem to love these little guns, and it's also great when guys aske her if she likes her little 380, and she replies uh, thats 9mm with 147grain +p... They usually just walk away.
Seriosuly though, just get on, just like it, don't get a 2 tone and an all black, she might want to have both, to make sure they match the clothes she is wearing that day.
Maybe a nice MK9? That way you can guy your self some nice grips.

LOL, I thought the same thing happened to me the other day, but I thought I really lost it.
Then I remembered I was carrying it. :D

Sorry guys for not responding to my post. Just got back from Erie PA, wife and I went North to sign or lease and to check out our new Townhouse. I maybe getting my PM9 back after I told her the price of a new one. She did not realize that the PM9 she fell in love with I bought used. When she found out what a new PM9 cost, will she just might give it back and take my LCP. Once we get to Pennsylvania for good we will both be getting our concealed weapons permit. I currently have a non resident New Hampshire permit so until we get settles I’m legal in PA. While in PA I checked out an indoor range, yearly membership $150 plus $5.00 per hour to shoot. Non member $20.00 per hour. Have to use their targets, $1.00 each. Not sure if I’ll join, can join an outdoor gun club for $50.00 a year. Thanks guys for all your responses.
