:D Very positive results after my first couple of range trips with my new CW40.

Surprisingly accurate for such a small gun... outshooting my Glock (until the skin got worn off of my hands!!) Got some pretty mean checking on the back of that grip don't they? Will have to do something about that.... have a Hogue Jr on the way, guys here seem to say they do a pretty good job.

Carries very well in a Supertuck... so much lighter than my Glock 23. The ST is a bit larger than necessary, but, makes wearing it all the time very effortless.

One issue that I encountered was feeding the first round from a full mag. Not sure if it was an ammo issue (Federal range stuff and some re-loads). When attempting to "sling-shot" the slide to load, it would cause the top round to "submarine" into the feed ramp. If I used the slide release, no problems. If I tapped the mag before inserting it to the gun, no problems. I'm chalking it up to a getting-to-know-you thing between me and the CW.

Only other issue is ... darned if I didn't get a lot of practice loading that one 6 round mag!!! Need to look for at least one more.. if not two or three more. Total rounds through it are now about 200 +/- of range ammo... and about 20-25 of Ranger T hollow point stuff. No fail to fire, no fail to eject. Just those few initial rounds loading up.

Glad to be part of the Kahr family. Once I get the grip issue fixed, I think it will be both a good carry piece and a decent range gun... am surprised at how accurate it is. (Not as good as my XDM, but about on par with the G-23).

Looking forward to seeing more of you guys here and learning more from you experienced Kahr owners!

Thanks for the welcome Tuscon - was reading stuff on here last night and looks like I'll be spending some time with the polishing, a good thorough cleaning .... and more firing at the range when possible!!

Here's the family. Am finding that it is significantly easier to carry the Kahr on a full time basis.

Still love shooting the Buckmark as much, or more than the rest of em!!

windsearcher. USE THE SLIDE STOP LEVER. Kahr manual even states to do that. Once the gun gets broken in and smoothed out and you practice at it more u willbe able to slingshot with ease.

Just remmeber if it works with the slide stop lever and not with sling shotting then it is u who needs some adjusting. kahrs are tight, they will get better but they will remain tight.

I could at first never sling shot my P380 kahr, just could not do it but after about 1200 rounds I think me and the gun go to know each others quirks alot better and I can now slingshot it with ease, but I still use the slide stop lever 50% of the time.

Nice gun the cw40. no doubt it is a handfull to. 40 cals are just a very powerful round in these samm ass ultra light kahrs. If u get tire dof the recoil, just send off to magna port.com and have it ported and it will settle down big time.

Jocko.... yep.... am using the slide stop 100% now after my initial few "issues"..... have had no failures of any sort after that "discovery"

Just now need time to get to the range!
