Has anyone ever had any feed problems develop after installing a magazine finger extension? It seems unlikely nut pressure on the mag does cant it a little and could conceivably cause issues. I installed one on my PM40 and love the feel of it.

frank, if yours is OK don't worry about it. I think more of the issues that we read about are the extended magazines more than a finger extension like u have on your gun.

I haven't shot with it yet so I don't know if it will present a reliability concern. I have one on my G27 and have never had an issue with it although my buddy is a Sheriff's Deputy and they are not allowed to have them on their G27's due to reliability concerns.

I seen issues on the kel tec forum with the pinky extension in their little 380's. Might just be hit and miss...

Looking at the two side by side the cartridges sit much higher in the Kahr than in the Glock. Honestly, there isn't much contact with the feed ramp on my PM40 as compared to the long ride up the ramp of my G27. I could see where possibly pushing the nose down a little on the G27 would cause failures in wide-nosed bullets.

I have the Pearce mag extensions on all of my 6 round mags that use with my PM9 and I have not had any issues at all.

Awesome, thanks for letting me know. I was hoping someone that had them would chime in with good news. :D

Ditto. Pearce extensions on two of my 6-round magazines. No problems.

I just ordered myself a couple of these also. I am glad to hear that they are working well.

Pearce has worked for me, except for the butt crack pinching my pinky.

Something I'll live with for now:(, as it looks like we will have to lock O'coot in his basement to finish his work.
just sayin'

I've run Pearce mag extensions on first my MK9, and then my PM9, since 2006. No feeding issues, although I did have an out of spec extension that decided to let go when I was sitting down for Thanksgiving dinner a few years ago. Fortunately, I was wearing the PM9 tucked in in a C-TAC. The mag spring shot around my back under my shirt. Pearce did replace the extension promptly, and they have worked fine since.
