New CM 380 ???

With the arrival of the CM 9, what do you think the possibility of a similar model of the P380? Would be a strong competitor in the Pocket Pistol market.

Just a guess but I'd say the odds are good that the CM will one day be had in all the calibers. No idea of course in what order they may appear. If they will start with the 380 or the 40 or similtaneous for that matter.

I suspect it's gonna be a real competitor.

I am very much on the fence as to cm9 or p380 for pocket carry and believe that IF there was a cm380 option that would already be on order.

I did call Kahr today to discuss this with them.
A lady I was speaking with put me on hold to ask someone and came back and said that they had no information that a CM380 is in the works.

She did go on to say that if we could or would put together a petition and send it in that they do listen to the voice of the customer.

Thoughts...?

The CM40 is coming out soon, and I think the CM45 will be next(and probably my next Kahr!)

For your question, I would just say search this and other forums for info on the P380, It has a less then stellar record for reliable function. But, with that said it would be a smaller pocket gun... But my CM9 works for me 95% of the time in my pocket just fine and don't minimize the fact that it is carrying 7 rds of 9mm +P ammo! (give some smallness up to gain a lot more in firepower)

I have an LCP for any other time I need a really small pocket carry. I can actually forget I even have that gun, it's that small and lightweight...and it works!

That is the bigger part of my dilemma. I should have said that I really want a RELIABLE CM380.
Still wanting that platform due to size for pocket carry but may lean to cm9.

There will never be a CM380. A C380 maybe, but not a CM380.

That would create a new naming convention. When thet made less expensive versions of the P9, P40 and P45 they named them CWs. So I think it will be the CW380.
