I need to settle down in one forum vs jumping from PM to CW and back. Does the CM9 belong in the...
(remember the only differances is riffiling and some cosmetics, so the technical questions will be identical)

nicepoll, it should give our mods a direction also.

I clicked the wrong one...I inadvertently voted for P/CW when I meant PM forum. That's what happens when the coffee hasn't kicked in yet...:2eek:

If the P9 and CW9 are in one forum then why wouldn't the PM and the CM belong in the same forum? Size matters. ;)

Yep I agree, I also put a poll in the P/CW Forum so the mods can tally the votes from both side.

I think the CMx should be combined with the CWx as it's own "C" series subforum.

It don't matter none to me at all. There are only two kinds of guns to me. The ones I own and the ones I'm gonna own. Be they P's or C's or CM's or PM's or big or small steel or tupperware.

I've got that same disease Jeepster and a few others around here have. I want em all.

Ultimately it probably doesn't matter, but the CM is the "budget minded" version of the PM so...:p

Just my very humble opinion, but if you are considering a re-grouping of forum subjects, you might consider issue similarities between models. For example, the CW9 & PM9 may have similar issues but different than the PM45 & PM40. The steel guns different than poly.

The forums are already split pretty fine so I don't suggest adding to the number, but consolidate. All the steel forums combined have less threads than either of the poly forums, and the 2 poly forums are pretty low at 700+ each.

That said, I hardly look at individual forums anymore, but review all new posts instead. My bottom line is look at it from different perspectives, including leaving it as is. It's a good forum.

I agree, I've always looked at new post in general. Now I do to kind of keep tabs on stuff but I always did once I figured out the new post button that is. Too much good stuff missed if you stay in one little subsection.

I never go to an individual forum thread either. the new posts cover it all, Now a newbie shoudl review the past threads..:

I am a fan of looking at the new post first, then going to the individual groups. I wouldnt want to miss anything, right now my brain is a dry sponge and this place is the water.
