Hi guys. Two weeks ago I went to the gun show in Mesquite, TX and traded my two CW9's for a NIB PM45. Loved my 9's, but decided I wanted to upgrade to 45 A.C.P. Wow! This is real man's pistol. After a good clean & lube I went to the range this past Sunday and shot 350 rounds of various factory (Winchester, Federal, Remington, Blazer & Monarch) 230 gr. hardball ammo. I had "zero" malfunctions! This surprised me as I was expecting several FTF or FTE during the break in. The last 20 rounds I shot were Speer Gold Dot, Short Barrel 230 gr. HP. (Speer Gold Dot is my preferred carry ammo in all calibers.) Not only did I find the pistol to be reliable, but it is a very accurate as well. The only accessory I installed was a Pachmayr # 4 rubber grip (much better for me than the Hogue HandALL Jr.). I did sand down the sharp edges on the front and back of each hard plastic magazines base. The rounded edges of the magazine base, along with the rubber grip is just what I needed to keep my hand from getting sore from shooting so many rounds of ammunition at one time. I liked the pistol so well I am on the hunt to purchase a second one.:)
