I came across this photographic comparison between Kahr's CW9 and P9. I thought it was pretty cool.

If this photo has already been posted on this forum, please accept my apologies.

All I got to say is I cant wait for the CM9... same exact thing as a PM9 with noe of the stuff I dont need. :) Kahr budget line FTW.

Theres no official word but I would not be suprised at all to see one at some point in the future and perhaps a CM45 as well.
Just a guess on my part at this point but it would make sense to me.

I will cover ur bet even bawanna, just makes sense to make a cm40 and a cm45. Probalby one model at a time though for kahr, probably more machinery to be bought, number crunchers willhav eto show the big guys in the office that it is doable and PROFITABLE and won't kill the PM models either. The cm9 willbe their test gun for public acceptance. they will probably base any decisions on the sales and feed back of the cm9. Which IMO I can't see anything but great reviews coming from the cm9..

I think the CM9 will obliterate their PM sales. I really dont think its a smart move on Kahrs part. Who in their right mind is going to pat 550+ for a pistol just to have nicer slide machining, when you can get the same thing for hundreds less. LOL, I wont.

But I guess the same can be said for Kimbers and the other high end pistols. You like what you like and im sure many ppl will fancy the PM over the CM.

Naw it won't kill the PM sales but it will slow them down. The cw series did that also, but the cw was a niche that until then kahr didn't have anything to offer other people. People will still buy the pM series becuase they will think it is the top of the line and some people just have to have the top of the line. If I wanted the xs bit dots on my kahr and the cm series with pinned front sight would not accept it, thenI would opt for the pM series

different strokes for different folks.

Kahr knows that their PM9 sales will be threatened by the upcoming Ruger LC9, and other pocket 9s. Its very shrewd to bring a proven platform to market in budget clothes.

Yes, CM9 might take some sales from PM9, but for Kahr, thats better that then people spending their money on LC9, Solo, PF9 etc.

What cav_scout_tj said. Great post for only being your third one. Kahr's made enough money all around on the PM9 already, now they have to have a competitor to the other low-cost 9mm's appearing on the scene.
