Don`t know what jarred this from my memory. It was the mid sixties and I was in junior high school. All the girls and some of the more attractive teachers were wearing these items..It`s a wonder I ever made it through the ninth grade. If I ever have the chance to meet the person or persons who came up with the idea of pantyhose I`m going to spit on them. Do any of you guys remember those days?Good times.

I didn't know nothing about garter belts but I recall many girls changing clothes at school since they weren't allowed to leave the house wearing what they wore at school. Some pretty amazing transformations at the beginning of the school day.

I was usually tasked with cleaning the black boards (remember those with chalk) and other corporal punishment.

Remember the mini skirts but not the garter belts and stockings! Grew up in Miami so I believe that stockings were pretty much optional in that regard. The majority of the girls had pretty good tans and being hot for most of the time, didn't wear stockings per se. Maybe during our pretty severe winter weather. LOL:D

I worked for the phone company in the 60's and one project was splicing cable in manholes on the state college campus, many of which were smack dab in the middle of the large walkways. several times a day, good hearted women would gather around the framework protecting the opening and display their pretty panties - well at least those wearing them. Boss did understand why it took me so long to finish that up, however.

We had a 9th grade English teacher who wore a garter belt and mini skirt. All the boys sat at the front of the class and the girls in the back. Go figure - right? We also had a male science teacher who made all the girls set on the front row. He tried to convince us it was for our own good. Wonder why he was always smiling.
Our math teacher wore the short skirts and sat on a high stool in front of class. We didn't understand math but we all sure paid attention in class.

Oh, those were the days. If I'd of known then what I know now.

They have made somewhat of a comeback in modern days in younger women. Seem 6 such instances at malls in the last year, even fiancee has donned them time to time (almost impossible to leave the house those days for obvious reasons :D

personally I miss the mini skirts. Lately though I seem to be seeing more and more shorter skirts. ALL IS WELL.

I see no problem with them, until my daughter wants to try that crap. Then we'll see, I do know that her daddy has a Ka-Bar that needs sharpening, and a shotgun that seems to never be clean.

Do not remember the garters but mini-skirts for sure! However, I never cared for the pantyhose concept. I worked for a non-profit a few years back and this very hot looking (divorced) babe used to come in dressed in fishnet stockings occasionally. There may have been a garter belt but I am not sure. She drove me wild! She was the Executive Director of this particular non-profit organization. I really enjoyed working" with her! :D
