really shows how small the PM45 is when it is nextto the small glock 45 which looks monstrous next to the PM45.

LOS has been the source of many great visual aides over the years. Kudos for this useful tool.

I love the fact that they include the Semmerling. I hear tale that American Derringer Co. is making a version of those now. Unfortunately, the last time I checked it was more expensive than a Rohrbaugh. They came in at around $2000. Great little 45 that Semmerling, and is not a semi-auto. Look it up, definitely an interesting weapon.

In the .45 comparison, that BIG black thing is UGLY, too! I love the looks of the Kahr... and it's a .45!

I don't believe that is a Glock 36 in the .45 comparison. The specs are correct for one, but I think the photos are of a non rail G30. That aside, I think the comparisons are well done.

Looks like a 36 to me. I don't think they offer a rail even on the new ones. The 30 might. Looks single stack and the width is correct.
No matter, I pick the PM45 anyway.

Hi Bawanna,
The 36s I've tried my hand at had a flat profile ahead of the take down levers. My 30 was stepped in that area; very much like the one in Los's photo. It's no big deal as Los uses the 36's stats in the comparison (width differences aside, the 30 and 36 share the same length and height).

In my case, I liked the CW45 better than the G36:)

sure looks stepped up to me also., u do great work with photosk, greg
I wonder if glock did that to keep ones fingers from interfering with the slide accidentely. Makes sense to me, almost like the little bulge in the kahr dust cover area. I always felt it was there to keep the fingers from possably preventing propper slide action.

Looks stepped to me also. I carried a g36 for awhile, it's a good gun. It's reliable and never failed to go bang. That said it was still a bit big and bulky to carry comfortabley(for me). I now edc the pm45 much easier to conceal and lighter to carrry. I still have the glock though, it's home defense in the kitchen.

I concede, looking again even closer I see the step also. I should know better than to disagree with you wicked smart fellas.
Dang good eye! I've had both and while I liked the 36 best, I seemed to shoot the 30 better. Never could figure out why. All gone now except my nightstand G21SF with the X300 night light.

I still want a Semmerling. One of these days my boat will come in, and I'll own one as well as a few others that I'd love to have.

I looked the Semmerling up and I knew that you would like something like that. The cost sure sucks, though! One just sold on GunsAmerica for $2295, and that included two mags, the thin side plates and a lot of other stuff. The clincher was the review or description having a LOT of RECOIL... and manual operation, not an automatic.

google it, there was an article in the Oct. 2005 American Handgunner about it. You actually slide the slide forward to eject, and back to chamber. I still say that for a two gunner, the Semmerling has no peer. The PM45 is close, but massive compared to it.
