Well used!!!!!!
I was at my LGS for a bit yesterday afternoon, I went in to buy a holster and some ammo, but I also had a certain pistol in mind to purchase if the price was right. I must say, I was taken aback by that price tag. I want to say that's what I had seen them for new. this had factory sights, was the old style slide, and was the standard black polymer with the brushed stainless.

Are they nuts for asking that price, or am I the one who is nuts?

Perhaps someone with more money than brains will jump all over that. Maybe the guy making the price tags didn't have his coffee or something?

In the mean time beam yourself out of there quick as you can.

it's odd. I love this particular shop, and it is the only one around me with any sort of inventory. they had about 10 PM9's in the case some new some used. I already have a CW9 and was hoping that I could get into the higher end PM's. Looks like I'm gonna have to set my sights on the Cm9.

What did they want for a new one, the title to your car perhaps?

Is their other stuff reasonably priced or pretty high for everything?

It really depends on what you're looking at with them. I have a couple of glocks, and thought that I wanted to snag something in .45 as well, they had a lot of good deals on glocks and rugers, but some of their upper end guns like kahr and H&k seemed to be way up on the high side. A used p380 was going for $569.00. I wanted a NICE pocket pistol hence why I was looking at these guns, but they also sold me a LCP for $230 BNIB awhile back that fires bullets too for way less money than those things. If they had the pm9 used in the $550 range i would be carrying it right now.

I definitely agree with all the respondents. Especially considering the same PM9 was going for $610 NEW from Bud's (last I checked anyway).

Bud's had it last week for $610. A perfect example of how Bud's prices jump all over the place sometime due to how they set their pricing - however, in any case, still better than what the OP's LGS had a used one priced at.

You guys are shopping in the wrong LGS. Recently purchased NIB:

Off the label on the box...
PM9094NA Kahr PM9, Serial # IC7xxx
PM9 W Diamond Black Slide / Mfg.12/22/2010.
with TRU DOT night sights.
Purchased for $630.00 on 1/11/2011

After looking around town and the Internet, I walked into this LGS for the very first time. I didn't know him and he did not know me. He had a P9 but did not have a PM9 in stock. I asked for a quote to order a PM9094N and was blown away with the off-the-street price. He was $120 less than the next lowest price in other local shops. I could not say no. The $120 savings bought two more Kahr factory magazines ($39 ea.) and some ammo.

You are so right, Bawanna. Every chance I get.

My son, my son-in-law and my daughter are all waiting for their NY State Pistol Permits to be processed. I'll give you one guess where I am taking them for their "first."

Are you in New York? Maybe we should share the name of this shop so others can support the guy too? Maybe we can all support him if he ships or has a web site.

New York huh?

beep um beep beep yeah?

I agree with everyone above. Even a brand new black slide PM9 with tritium night sights is cheaper than that.

Today (3/9) Bud's PM9 price is $600. See my new post about buying one.

And its worth noting that Bud's price includes shipping and no tax. It's out the door to your dealer. Just a transfer fee and off to the range, after proper prep of course.

Seeing I bought mine for 400.00, in good shape....I would avoid that shop from now on..
