Bad guy calls the cops - on himself

They say when a dog bites a man it's not news but when a man bites a dog it is news. In that light, check out this story. A bad guy, inside someone's house, calls 911 because he is still in the home (taking a shower!) when the homeowner gets back and he is afraid the homeowner might have a gun:

There is no way to know the answer but I wonder how many crimes aren`t commited because of the possibility of an armed victim.A bunch I`ll wager.
