I'm trying to decide what P380 to get. Is the DLC a must? What are the advantages? I live in Utah and have never seen rust on any of my guns.

I think I am wanting night sites. Are the factory sites the Trijicons listed for $80?

I'd certainly not consider DLC a must. If you ever do any modification at all on the gun stainless can be your friend as you don't have to refinish anything.
I personally prefer the stainless myself. If you like black, by all means go the DLC its a tough durable finish.
My K40 was originally black, it had a slide issue and they were waiting for another black slide to replace it. I asked if I could get a stainless slide instead, I got it back the next day with a nice stainless slide on it. N/C.

I don't know the answer to your sight question, I'll let the others in the know address that one.

It is not a must but you can't go backwards and get the dlc finish put on your stainless slide by kahr.

Are the only advantages rust resistance and looks? Does the silver slide rust?

The silver slide is stainless so its somewhat resistant but not immune to rust. You can polish it or bead blast it or whatever down the road because there is no finish to damage. It's stainless.

I don't hink you need DLC, or any other coating. I believe all Kahr slide are stainless steel. The DLC is nice though for stealthiness, if you're a dirty rotten sneaky guy like me.

Who has the best prices?

Bud's Gun Shop? (http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/411539831)

That is a good place to start and compare to. It pays to shop around. Bud's is usually very competitive and I've seldom found anything cheaper anyplace else. It happens but its not the norm.
