Hi Folks,
New to KahrTalk and Kahr (PM9) ownership but otherwise a 66 year old fart former Marine, NYU Graduate, 39 year AT&T employee and 10 month old retiree. Besides all the "honey do stuff" I'm into hunting (bow, revolver & BP) and hobby type woodworking. I'm a member of several other gun and archery forums and I hope to be an active member here on KahrTalk.
After analyzing to death several choices I settled on a Kahr PM9 to fit in between my P3AT and Glock 26 for the purpose of concealed carry. I particularly favor pocket carry and knew that many of my pants pockets would allow carrying a gun larger than my P3AT. I've even, on a few occasions, pocket carried my Glock in cargo pants pockets - the top slit pocket not the cargo pocket. I've already tried the PM9, which I picked up just yesterday, in several of my most frequently wore pants and even with the rather thick DeSantis holster the gun fit just fine. I'll get a thinner Kydex holster in the near future.
I feel very comfortable with my choice of 9mm. I had one SD situation in which I had to use my .380 and thankfully it (and being able to draw one handed from my pocket) was enough to save my butt. I'm hoping that the PM9 and this shooter will be able to handle Black Hills 124 +P, my choice for my Glock 26.
OK, catch you folks on the threads.
Regards,
Bill K.
