Today I finally got a chance to put some more rounds down range with the P45 I recently acquired. I shot 150 rounds. 1 100rnd WWB and a box of Tula .45 .. I had no issues with feeding during my session. With the Tula...I had one round that fired but didn't eject and one round that was struck by the firing pin, but did not fire.
The Tula ammo seems to be more "aggressive" or rough in texture. It had lots of friction when loading into the magazine but it fired:)

There were a few hiccups here and there but I had more wayyy more function than flaws! Didn't even notice the rough grips and the night sights were dead on!!!! Great gun!!!!!!

if it is cheap in price and u realize that those issues are probalby BRAND related, then fire away. I would at least shoot a 100 American brand fmj ammo to test for reliability. If they work perfect then go back to the cheapest range fodder u can buy and just shoot it like you stole it. It will also give you the chance to do the TAP,RACK AND BANG DRILL.

I love my P45 for the same reasons, I shoot it till the cows come home, and it feeds everything, no issues. I think I may be due for a new recoil spring, seeing as I bought it used and have put a couple of thousand through it. Then again, we all know I like tight springs.

Yep! I shoot my P45 as well and sometimes better than any other, regardless of price, barrel length, etc. YES it eats anything I feed it.

I would have to agree with you guys. This little gun is great to shoot and carry. This is my very first Kahr. The first time I shot it I was having issues with the first round jamming up even when using the slide release. It didn't happen all the time but enough for me to raise concern. The gun is used w/ NS (looks new ) so I'm not sure the round count. So far since I've owned it....I would say that I have put maybe 300 rnds or so through it, with a few hiccups here and there. Having sights on this gun seems to be not needed.....where you point it is where it was hitting...My glock 19 and kimber procarry usually produces that type of
accuracy...now so does my Kahr!!!! Hell I took a chance with it Saturday with my buddy at the range, to see who can keep the most shots inside the 10 and 9 ring......and a box of shells was on the line. Maybe he'll have better luck next time!!!

round count doesn't mean jack sh-t, but being it is used, I would defionitely order from kahr a few sets of recoil springs and start with a new one in the gun, and remember open end of the recoil spring towards the front of the slide. I would bet that will take care of that piddly issue very quickly. Nice gunb, now shoot it like u stole it..
