Do we dare ask how many paychecks that was?

Less than 3 (barely - I get paid weekly). Long, long work weeks of 78-88 hours a week.

Nice purchase, jeep. See you're getting ready for something.

Well, I didn't buy any .22LR, .45ACP, .30-06, or 7.62x25 - so I stand by that claim :D

Not having to buy ammo again for a loooong time. Buy in bulk = buy cheap, stack deep.

I don't know where you're at in Ohio - but when SHTF, keep your eyes out for another guy in a Jeep your way... I'm hanging out at your place when the zombies strike! :)

My range wouldn't allow the 9mm as it fails the magnet test for steel. This according to reports on another forum. The good news is that it is very highly regarded for quality and accuracy, and they stated that it runs a little hotter than traditional US 9mm.

I tried to buy some ammo today. I'm looking at a case of Winchester Ranger .380 through the glass at my WalMart. Going to buy the whole thing.

They lost the ammo key. Couldn't get in. Weren't terribly apologetic about it. I was very PO'd. They are going to pay somehow, I guarantee.

I offered to pick a lock when they tried that crap with me once. Strangely they found the key. Jeep, I want your disposable income, I am quite jealous.

I could have Swiss Army knifed my way in with either of the two I had on me, big or little.

Jeep, I'm sorry I drifted off topic. A new bunch of ammo like that makes you just feel good about life doesn't it?

It took me 3 weeks of 80 or so hours a week to build it up. I'm down to a measly 56 hours a week now.

You're a Marine, so I know those hours seem like a cake walk compared to your time in active duty for our country (on duty or on call 24/7) - the rest of the world seems to think that I'm insane for working those sorts of hours.

If you're in Cincinnati, let me know and I'll point you towards the application process. The pay is great, as are the benefits - if you can bite your tongue and keep quiet over the idiots and internal politics (the hardest part).

Good grief, are you trying to get on the ATF's radar?

Considering that I've been on syndicated radio shows and national television shows arguing FOR concealed carry on college campuses, I'm sure that this did not alter any radar screens that I'm currently on.

But that don't look like the back of the jeep I rode around in for 20+ years. :D

I appreciate the offer, I had a lot of Marines come out of Ohio. Never felt any need to visit there again, but really have no reason not to. As for the process, I'll pass, I work maintenance for a local college, when I leave here, I'm finding a department and I'll chase scumbags. I only have another year and some change to finish out my degree, then I start looking for a PD.
