Hey guys, new to the forum and I have a brand new CW9 that hasn't been fired yet. I took it apart and cleaned it, and noticed that the firing pin seems to stick out when I pull back the slide. It'll stay out if I lock the slide back, and goes back in when the slide is almost fully forward as shown in the third picture below. This only happens when racking the slide and the trigger is "dead". If I rack the slide and see it sticking out, then rack it again (after trigger is set and gun is ready to fire) it doesnt stick out. I can push it in with my finger/screwdriver/tool and it'll pop in. and stay in. Is this a problem?
I've detail stripped the slide twice and made sure all the springs are there and everything seems to be working as it should.
I've included pictures below:

Thanks for the quick reply :)

Can't wait to go break it in, hopefully this weekend. Also in the process of getting concealed carry permit.

Yeah the entire situation in Japan is pretty overwhelming. I'm glad all of my friends over there are safe. Most of them are around Osaka or on the west coast. Red Cross is a great way to help if you have the means :)

If you dry fire it on an empty chamber, it does do that. Not to worry
