Does anyone know why the P380 is not designated as a "PM380"? I ask purely to satisfy my curiosity. Any insight would be much appreciated. :)

Here's my guess. The "M" in PM designates a miniature version of a preexisting model. (P9-P40-P45).
The P380 is already "miniature", so there will be no PM380.

What he said. There's only one model of the 380.
