I have a PM9 for my everyday carry or back up to my CW40. Both are great shooters and 100% reliable. A locale sporting good store in my home town has a new CW9 for $429.95 that I think is a pritty good price but do I really need another Kahr? I might also add that I also have a couple of 380’s, an LCP and a great shooting Bersa Thunder 380 CC.

Well, there is always a difference between need and want.
In mho,, I would consider trading the Bersa and LCP for a Kahr P380. the Bersa while a nice pistol, is very heavy for the cal. it fires. I believe it is 21 or 22 oz.
The Ruger while reliable does not have features that I would like in a defensive pistol, such as the slide locking after the last round fired. The Ruger is also snappy in recoil, something that you would not have in the P380.
You have the PM9, I would look for the P380 and see if you can do some swapping and have the P380 for a BUG or primary carry on hot summer days.

I'm of the opinion that you can never own too many Handguns. :)

I'd say you got the small CCW guns covered, it's time for one of those new MRI 1911's or maybe one of the last few AO presentation grades. I'm scrambling for one myself but I don't think it's gonna happen.
You can only carry 2 or 3 or 5 at a time on ya so there comes a time to get some range guns or still carry guns in my case.
Guns fall into two categories for me, the ones I own and the ones I'm gonna own.

Yep, can't ever have too many guns. Buds gun shop has the CW9 for $369 with free shipping. Dealers usually charge $20-$50 for the transfer, might be able to save a little $$$. Also might try galleryofguns.com and use the Gun Genie. Find your CW9 and click on Instant Quote and it will list some of the gun shops in your area. By looking at the addtional fees in the quotes from the various gun shops, you can get an idea of what different stores charge for the transfer fee and also which stores have the best prices. I always expand the listing to show stores in a 50 or 100 mile radius instead of 25, and it shows a lot more shops. One good thing about the gun genie is it shows you shops you might not have heard of. Another thing about Davidsons (galleryofguns) is they guarantee their guns for life. Look at the Subtotal under the various shops that show up on the gun genie to see the actual cost of the gun after taxes and fees. This again shows which gun shops usually have better prices on items. Davidsons only takes a down payment and you end up paying sales tax on the balance at the dealer so you usually end up paying more than with Bud's. Not sure if you can pay Davidsons the whole amount or not and save the sales tax. Bud's almost always has a better price and you pay them in full, so no sales tax at the dealer, just the transfer fee.
And of course nothing wrong with buying at your local gun store and help keep them in business, I don't mind paying a little extra to help out the local guys. My method of purchase is to go down to Gander Mountain on a weekday when it's not so crowded and get a chance to handle the gun in question since they stock so many guns, but I never buy from them due to their high prices and sales people that know very little about guns. They don't stock Kahr, so I'm out of luck there. Then I call around locally, check on prices, and usually order the gun online.
Good luck with your purchase. Hope I just didn't confuse the hell out of things. After looking at prices on the Gun Genie, I'd say $430 was about in the middle of the pack in prices available in my area.

How old are you?
< 55? Get it. You've got plenty of time to change your mind or taste and recoup your losses. :)
>54? Get it. You've not much time left to enjoy all the good material things that this world has to offer. :)

I like to think that even though we are Kahr oriented we're still unbiased.
I know I don't sugar coat any findings I find with mine and I'm not afraid to report past issues a new owner could potentially experience.
Beats running around any 2nd rate forums which of course would include all but this one. How's that for unbiased?

I wouldn't want to own two guns that were almost the same, there seems little point. But that's just me.

I knew a guy a few years ago that was collecting glocks. He wanted all the calibers in all the different sizes. I never saw the point. You had to look at the numbers to see which one was which.
All look identical, seemed like a wasted effort to me.

Ok, my 2 cents.
Get a steel framed pistol or revolver (see you have an SP101 so you may be set there). You seem to be pretty set up with the polymer framed.

Get it to standardize on 9mm ammunition and magazines. The CW9 mags will fit in the PM9 in a pinch (albeit awkwardly).
