First I must say. I absolutely LOVE this gun. I mean I LOVE this gun. IMHO. I feel more comfortable and I think this gun out performed my M&P9c. Don't get me wrong, I still love my M&P9c but I just LOVE this that much more. Before I went to the range I proceeded to lube her up good. Basically I ran her wet. Break-In went off well except I had two failure to load. What happened to Melissa happened to me. Around 120 I had a round that got stuck on the bottom of the feed lip. Then it happened again right before my 200 round. I didnt stop there I ran an extra mag of fmj then I ran a mag of speer gold dots 124gr and a mag or hornady critical defense 115gr. Flawless. I see the need for the break-in because now this little gun is as loose as a whore on Sunday. She was quite dirty but I took pride in cleaning her. I have a smile from ear to ear right now. I've read alot of horror stories about the PM9 but I must say I definetly got a good one. It was difficult to stage this trigger as opposed to my M&P9c. Alittle more practice will cure that. When I started my aim was off. after a few mags I was right on. Center Mass all the way at worst Im hitting gut shots and if I try real hard I get head shots no problem. Recoil I thought was as much if not less than my M&P. My hands or arms werent tired I could have put 500 rounds downrange without no fatigue. I cannot express enough how much I love this gun. The almost 900$ with tax I spent on this gun was worth every penny. What a quality firearm. I will continue to post all range reports. Does anyone have any input on why a round would get stuck in between the feed ramp and mag??? @Jocko I took your advice and I shot it like I stole it.:) From now on the M&P will be shot by the wife or it will sit in the safe as back-up. The PM9 will be on my hip 24/7 even when I shower. Joking

Huge tears are running down my face like a garden hose running on top of my head.
I'm so happy for you. You got a runner there it sounds like. And the great thing is it'll no doubt continue to get better and better. You have very few issues. I'm a little stumped on your stuck rounds without more info but I got a feeling it'll work itself out. Might just have been the round itself or not loaded in the mag quite right, lots of possiblities.
With all this water on my face I might as well go get some soap. Not Sunday till tomorrow but I might as well clean up a day early. Waste not want not.

Izzy: sometimes what happened to you when you have over a 100+ rounds is that the shooter gets alittle tired and doesn't know it and then things tend to change a tad, maybe grip moves, maybe grip isn't what it was on round 5. I would look past a couple of ftfs at that range count with no problem.
If there was a gun issue it would reproduce itself time and time again. Also your gun now as u stated even is working alot different than round 1 was. I can't believe it is as loose as a whore on sunday (THATS REALLY LOOSE). My kahr with 30.000 rounds through it is totally smooth, not a slide rattle or anythin just smooth. I call that "purring"

Great range report, thanks for sharing.
If you'll allow me an opinion not asked for... It is fun from time-to-time to stage DA triggers to shoot for accuracy but if the gun is going to be a CCW I'd not put too much practice in shooting it that way.

@ Bill K thank you I will take that piece of info and use it. I actually started squeezing the trigger steady even pull and then my rounds stayed where they were. I will not count those 2 rounds I think it may have not been seated in the mag correctly. So well count that at a clean brwak-in with no problems. Thank you all for sharing in my wonderful expierience

this is good to read. haven't put a round through mine yet and was amazed at how tight this little sucker is. the floor model was nice and smooth and i hope with a few hundred rounds through her she too will be 'loose as a whore' soon (ok, maybe not that loose)....

I discussed the 9mm "problem" here:

After chambering a round, drop the mag and make sure the top round is fully to the rear of the mag.
