Hey Folks,

As part of my due-diligence in researching pocket carry semi-auto .380's, a LGS was nice enough to let me entertain them with a 'blind' grip test. I honestly kept my eyes closed and didn't peek.

My measurement parameters weren't that complicated. I was looking for the general 'feel' of the grip, 'secureness' of the grip and orientation of the trigger finger on and off the trigger, and on and off the side of the slide / trigger guard.

In order of ranking:

1. Kahr P380

2. Ruger LCP

3. Kel-Tec P-3AT

The results are not really surprsing, as my thus far fairly thorough reading of various 'reviews' on the internet generally put the Kahr on top for ergonomics.

And, as many attest to here as well as out on the net, the Kahr's got the egde in shootability as well.

I'm pretty sure I am toast at this point, and it's going to taste a lot like a Kahr.

Regards,

Rob

Smart idea that "blind" grip test.

The feel of a grip can be greatly enhanced with the purchase of just a few inexpensive items. Here is one of my two P3ATs with grip pads, grip sleeve and modified by me mag finger extension.
