Last night I put on a clean pair of 5:11s to go to a class and found one round of Corbon in a cargo pocket. It was left over from my shooting outing with MW Surveyor. I had replaced my carry rounds with Blazers to shoot at the range and didn't find the single Corbon round before washing the 5:11s.
Think it will shoot?
Think Barney Fife ever washed his bullet?

It will shoot!...mine did.

But a washed round would NOT be something I'd use for defense;).

I went to the range to shoot the M&P C 40 for the first time today. I was wearing Dockers or similar pants and had an loose untucked tee that completely covered the front pockets. When I emptied my pockets this afternoon there were two empty 40 casings in my right front pocket. I can't figure how in the world they got there.

I find cases all over me a week after a range visit. In my lap, bags, seat cushion, foot rest. Theres always a few rolling around on the floor of the van that fall off at some point.
Guess it's a good way to keep the ones that don't make it into the brass hoarding sack.

Wynn, I did dry my cartridge, starched and ironed it too. It's going to be the best kept round in the magazine.

I would save that one for the range and make sure it exited the barrel. :D
I finally started a monthly contribution to Wounded Warriors. I just don't think the government does enough for the men and women who gave so much in the service of our country. I get choked up almost every time Trace Adkins does that promo on FOX.
Putting the regular donations on a credit card makes it pretty painless. It's the most worthy cause I can think of... our deserving veterans.

Good for you Wynn. We have so many more wounded now versus previous wars because of improved battlfield treatment and our ability to get the wounded off the battlefield and into treatment faster.
I don't know if I have mentioned this before but I actually received an email from one of our guys in the middle east thanking me for supporting the Wounded Warriors Project. He'd seen my avatar on another forum. He said the WWP is very quick to help the good guys in the sand box, and they do so without miles of red tape. It was great to learn the few dollars I contribute are helping. Unlike a lot of causes, the WWP seems to be the real deal. We can't do enough for these men and women.
