Just a note to say that Jay at Kahr was very helpful. He readily sent a replacement slide stop for my new PM9 (slide lock issue) and exchanged my 7 round magazine for a 6 rounder. I think it's important to post positive experiences as well as problems to give a balanced picture.

Hi,
I'm hoping to be able to +1 your post. Sent my defective 7 rounder to Kahr (as per Jay) and am asking for a replacement 6 rounder. Also asking for a replacement slide lock because of the same premature slide lock problem that others are having with their new PM9s.

Hello, first post, but I have been the usual lurker for a bit now. Jay did send me a new slide release/stop at no charge after I sent pics of the black diamond finish "flaking" off. It was quick and painless and now I have two SR's......:)
I think I included a pic as I am not terriblly proficient with forums yet...

Well I have had to send my CW45 back, thought the problem had worked itself out but sadly it hasn't. Sent an email to Jay last night and first thing this morning had a positive response and RA# attached. Gun will be going out first thing tomorrow as all local Fedex have already completed express pick up. So hopefully the matter will be handled well and I too can 1+ CS at Kahr as well.

Some accuse me of being optomistic (I had to look it up). But I have little doubt that they will get you fixed up and running the way it should.
To me it's the patience issue that makes it hard for me. I like things to happen quick.
Many of us (not me) have had to send guns back several times. Poor Wyn had a regular Fed Ex stop at his house there for awhile but eventually he got cured and all is well. Tried the patience some but hes on track now and all is good.
Positive thoughts..........

glad to hear it... i have yet to go to the range to see if I am going to have the same issue... I have had to deal with kahrs CS before in the past and they were always helpful! Hopefully i have 0 issues with my pm9, but i know that if I do that Jay will take care of me... Or Bob Holmes will if he is still around like he did last time!

Curious if any posters are employed by Kahr? Depending on the issue and the specfic answer, it's something to take into account.
Is there a Kahr employee out there willing to put the policy on shipping expenses in writing? What is the policy on buying back a gun, i.e., cash refund?
I am torn between three Kahr models and am holding off a purchase.

if we have any kahr employees on this fourm, they never reveal it, Makes sense, as we would drive um nuts. I doubt if you gonna get ANY gun company put anything in writing, other than their manuals. Buying a gun back, I have heard of this in the past with other makers, very liited I am sure, A good question to run by kahr inside people. My bet your answer will be NO WE DO NOT BUY BACK GUNS....I would think they would be opeing up pandora's box if they said otherwise. I am sure they would deal with it on an individual basis.
Don't hold off on a purchse waiting on those answers, for IMO ur not gonna get the answer you probably want to hear, or the answer is going to have many scape hatches in it that it means nothing..I don't think you will regret buying a kahr but you didn't mention the 3 models ur looking at either.

Looking at CM9, CW9, PM9 and Kimber Solo if anyone has one. Local shops have 20-22 people on wait lists.
