View Full Version : My P9; I think I'm done messing with it...
I finally got everything the way I like it, and had a chance to snap some pics (Not the best quality. Sorry).
I didn't do anything monumental, but I am very happy with the finished product.

I don't think there's much else I want to do to it (other than shoot it more), but am always open to suggestions.

Very nice work. I wish it was easy to black out the barrel and extractor. If so, I'd be doing a similar piece of work on my DLC PM9. I really want to add night sights and have been interested in trying the XS sight system.
I've got another post in the XS Sights section where I tried to take a couple pics where you can see the sights in low light.

Nice setup. I've never seen that Agrip before. I just checked out their website and it looks interesting. I have the rubber grip stick ons from Kahr for my P9 and although they work great as far as allowing a secure grip, they're prety harsh against my skin. How do you like the Agrips? were they precut and easy to install?

The grips are great! It feels exactly like suede. I was a little nervous about the installation, but it's actually very easy as long as you have a vise of some kind of clamp to hold the gun while you are installing. The adhesive doesn't actually stick 100% until they it's been sitting for a while and pressure is applied, so you can give yourself a couple re-do's and not worry about it. I was afraid that it might effect how well the adhesive stuck later on down the road, but so far they are still stuck. Brooks Tactical has a 100% satisfaction guarantee too.

Thanks Jocko. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do a more aggressive job grinding more off the edges, but I am really happy with how it ended up. The color is an exact match too.
