OK, so looking at the picture below, would you call it New style with the dimple that is there?
The picture shows two PM9 slides. The slide on the bottom is the New style slide as is shown by the dimples. I know this to be true because I bought and installed the "New Style" XS Big Dots without a problem. The slide on top is my newest PM9 and it has the dimples, but they are just BARELY there.
I am under the assumption that ANY dimple located on that portion of the slide is considered 'New Style' but I wanted to confirm this before purchasing another set of Big Dots.
Thanks in advance. :)

Welcome to the asylum. If all of those Kahrs are yours, you definitely are a "Kahr whore". And yes, you have passed the credentials portion of membership with flying colors. Enjoy your stay, looking forward to your input, especially with your vast array of experience.

Appears to be marked "New style". Look at the dovetail cuts on the rear sight of the two pistols. They should be the same width. New versus old style refers to the width of the cut.

Hey, Thanks man... Ive had Kahrs for a long time but have just never posted on this site before. Looking through it though, its a great source for info! Maybe I can finally figure out what the hell is wrong with my PM40!
I really am a Kahr whore; yeah those are all mine... If I see one for sale in VA, it almost always seems to follow me home!

Yeah, I looked at the cuts and am pretty sure that its the New Style... But my eyes suck so it is hard for me to tell a difference that way.
looks like they made the dimples smaller.
That was my assumption. I bought this PM9 used the other day but it has never even been broken-in yet - If this dude shot 50rnds through it I would be surprised; stiff spring, hard slide lock... has all the symptoms of a new pistol.
But then you know what they say about assuming... Thats why I ask :)

Haha!!! Ive collected all of these ever since I bought my first PM9 - which sold me on the brand forever. Its no joke, these little pistols really do go bang every single time after break-in and I absolutely love them... I have more Kahrs than any other pistol.
Doubt anyone cares but I made this slide for myself... The Legend:

very good badge to pin on one who owns so many kahrs. It isw evident he loves kahr. Other than two PM9's with differenbt slides, he has a nice deversifed colletion. Missing is the P380..humm.

Welcome, tell me where did you get to play with the TOW missile? As for the dimples, I have not a clue. I'd get a caliper and measure the dovetail cuts.
What's the PM40 doing?

PM9 is my only repeat so far. Not too many people know about the E9 either.

I was with 2/4 Wpns out of Pendleton from 01-05; 5th Marines. And the M220-E4 TOW is, by far, the most wonderful weapon system on the face of the planet. :)
PM40 is failing to return to battery after every shot. I have to reach up and push the slide the final few millimeters before the weapon is back in battery. Something is screwy with the slide release too which I think is the real issue.

Have you checked the slide stop spring on that PM40? BTW the west coast was great when I was there, but we set a mountain on fire doing squad rushes. I did like the East Coast at least for the scenery, and the fishing in Courthouse Bay Camp Lejuene.
