Not so so long ago I bought a PM 45 @ the urging of my local firearms dealer(as I am of the thought of the bigger the hole, the better). I have carried this firearm in a somewhat generic Highnoon holster for a month or so. after putting it through a torture test as I do all my proposed carry guns, I decided THIS was my carry gun.
Not stopping there and being Very impressed I needing a BUG,so I bought the PM9!
NOW, I would like to gather input on what you carry these little masterpieces in!
I carry my primary in an IWB and secondary in an IWB or pocket holsters!
Just so you know a little about where I am coming from, I used to carry a 5" 1911 and a S&W .38 snubbie!
Thanks in advance,
Dave

Welcome to the KahrTalk ... two PMs and they are of similar dimensions, shouldn't be too tough.. :D
If I were you, I'd IWB the PM45 and pocket the PM9. I have my own list of "candidates" coz I know what I want on the holsters.
Happy shopping.

My PM9 usually rides in a High Noon Slide Guard (http://www.stu-offroad.com/firearms/highnoonpm9/highnoonpm9-1.htm) horsehide OWB holster. If not there, then in a DeSantis pocket holster.

This one works well with a big shirt. It's a Mitch Rosen from the Kahr website.

Dave,
Welcome to the world of Kahr. My PM45 is my favorite off duty CCW pistol.
I usually carry mine in one of my Bulldog Summer Special or Bulldog Origional IWB Holsters. I back it up with a S&W 442 in my weakside front pocket. When I carry my Glock 23 as my primary weapon, the PM45 replaces the 442 in my weakside front pocket Here's a photo of my PM45 in a Summer Special Holster

I carry my PM 45 in a Bulldog holster.
My wife finds it amusing that I have a box full of holsters that is the size of a human coffin and had never found any that I really liked save an original Seventrees for my 1969 Walther PPK, an Alessi for my Glocks and the Bulldog Leather made by Randy Cooley for my PM 45.
I have an OWB and IWB from Bulldog Leather . I like them both but wear the OWB most often because it fits so perfectly that I never have any discomfort from it. My split times are also close to a second faster with OWB and because I get a better grab, my shot to shot accuracy is better too. I always seem to have to adjust my grip with an IWB and when the ball drops you don't have time to spare.
Good luck with your choice

Greetings,
I have a SuperTuck and a SnapSlide for my P7 and a MiniTuck for my PM9. They are simple in design but work perfectly. They are damn ugly but function just as advertised. Could not ask for nicer people to work with either.

I settled on the MiniTuck for the PM9, now I still need to find something for the PM45!

Checkout a FIST K4A before you make your decision. I carry my PM9 IWB in one tucked (usually) w/velcro clip. Very comfy and concealable.

Here's another option. I just got this one a week or so ago, it's a Dual Carry from Gun Leather, Concealment and Cowboy holsters, Azle, TX. (http://www.dmbullardleather.com/1429711.html) He makes them to order, it's about a 30 day wait. He makes them to order. Seems worth it, nice quality item. It seems to like a narrower belt, I'm still figuring out a comfortable clothing combo for it.

I paid a little extra for the tuckable belt loops.

keep coming back to my trusty ol desantis nemesis pocket holster for my PM9 and my P380. Have enough different leather holsters to redue my couch even but the Desantis just feels good, covers well..

I use a variety -- IWB, OWB, shoulder, pocket...
Here is my custom IWB from Little Bear Holsters in elephant:

I use a Galco Lite shoulder holster, Nemesis, Uncle Mike's and Grandfather Oak pocket holsters, and a Galco paddle and Bianchi belt for OWB.

Dave @ Little Bear does excellent work. I have that same holster in black elephant new and unused if anyone is interested BTW. Mine has a Velcro clip instead and a separate mag/flashlight pocket holster though. It's a very well made holster but I have too many so this one has to go.

I ordered the same holster for my PM9 a couple of weeks ago. It should arrive early January. I also ordered the Kydex J clips to go behind the belt. Figured it would me "more" concealable, we'll see.
How do you like that set-up? Is it comfortable inside the waist band?

I'm really not sold on it yet. Seems like a lot of holster for such a little pistol. Because of it being so small the height seems to play a big role in how comfortable it is or how much it digs into you. :o Like I said, I'm still figuring out the proper setup to make it comfortable. Seems to dig less with a narrower belt, that allows it to ride a little higher.

Used to carry mine in the MTAC till I got an awesome pocket holster from Pocket Concealment Systems (Blackbird). Wait was about three months...but craftsmanship on this is second to none and not bad on pricing.
Since moving to pocket carry, the MTAC has been collecting dust in drawer and will be posted to sell soon.

I carry my XD9SC in a MTAC. PM me know when you want to get rid of it.

I've now tried six or seven holsters for the PM9. My favorites are:
OWB: JSholsters Kydex Paddle (not your normal paddle design)
IWB: Grandfather Oak Kydex IWB (SUPER thin and light, very well formed) with either their metal stud J-hook or a leather snap.
Tuckable IWB: Crossbreed MiniTuck
ETA: Remora

I carry my PM9 in an MTAC and my Glock 26 in a SuperTuck. Both are very comfortable, but the PM9 is much easier to conceal with business clothes.

What type of pants do you wear. I wear dress pants and from the pocket concealment site, it looks like the Blackbird is for cargo style.
What would work with dress pants?
Thanks,
Bill

Bill,
I know you are asking about a pocket holster, but I wear my MTAC with dress pants at the 4:30-5:00 o'clock position. It puts the gun behind my hip and it does not look like a big bulge on my side. The MTAC is tuckable, so my dress shirts tuck into my pants over the gun and I pull up and out a little bit on the shirt to give it a natural look. I do not wear a suit jacket or a tie.
I have been wearing my PM9 to the office since the start of the new year and I have not had a single person take notice. I have been careful with my attire, but I really have not changed much else with my clothes. There is only one other person who "might" be carrying in an office of 100+ people, so it would probably come up if someone noticed. Of course, I am the last person they would expect to be carrying a gun and I will never tell... :)
