on a EDC .45 ACP. I really liked the concept of the PM45. The grip felt good but the slide seemed to short to balance well for me. When I felt the P45 the slide felt right but the grip felt too big. I guess I could have converted the P45 to a P45 Covert (and even thought about it). What eventually sealed my decision was the problem I have had with my P380 and reading about others reliability issues with their Kahr pistols. My K9 is a favorite and my choice compares favorably with it. It is 4 ounces heavier than my K9, but then it has a slightly longer barrel. It will be IWB or OWB so the weight doesn't bother me. The reliability issue was the determining factor. I have owned several SIGs and have only had ONE malfunction from out of the box in over nine years. The winner (for me) is a SIG P220 Carry two tone.

I still hope the little P380 works but now it's no big deal. I already have a buyer if it doesn't. Gotta admit - my K9 is great tho"

Good choice. I never owned one but I've held some. I really like the 220 SAS with a DAK trigger. I don't think the one I held was a compact though. That might be even better.

Only Sig I ever owned was a Sig Pro 40 and for some unknown reason I just never got along well with it. I didn't care for the decock lever in the grip situation and I just didn't gel with it I guess.

Maybe I'll give a 220 a go one of these days. Sure would like to anyhow. Course the list is long, you know how it goes with gun addicts.
