Hey guys,

This is my first post as I am about to buy a slightly used black PM9 with night sights for $500 (its 3yrs old with 300 rounds through it). First off, that seems like a good buy to me, what do you think? This will be the first used gun I have ever purchased so I was wondering if the Kahr warranty will still be honored should I need to send it in for any reason being im not the original purchaser. If so, how long is the Kahr warranty?

I can't rememberif the warranty applies to only the new owner or not. 5 years on the more recent guns, but the original ones were lifetime warranty. Might want to email Kahr CS on that one.

u tell them u goubht it used, they might renig on the warranty as it applies only to the first owner, but they never ask either. You can find out when it was made by calling kahr or going to the kahr tech section and hitting on thserial umbers ertc, this will normally put u within 6 month +- of when it w3asmade. Don't woarry aobut it,, that is a good buy IMO, if u are buying it locally see if the dealer will give you a 30 day warranty itself even or if you can test fire it for a fee that if you don't buiy it, u loose what u paid to testit for but if you buy it comes off the price asking. Personally the price I good, now find out how old it is and it might give you some insight as to the age.

what might be the case if you need kahr service down the road,m is that they will requ9ire u to pay postage in for the gun and they jwill fix it and pay postage back. Kahr is not obligated to pay postage both ways, but normally they do if the gun is in very early new stages and has got some real issues. Al;ways a phone call is the first thing to do. My bet ur not gonna have any issues either..

Thanks guys, the seller is a regular on my local florida concealed carry forum, not an actual store. They purchased it to EDC to business meetings while their main EDC they like due to being a little larger was being repaired. The guy sounds like a good guy, offered to meet me at the local range to let me test shoot it before I purchase and says it works flawlessly. I think im jumping on this asap!

Go for it! I think you'll be fine.
