Money sent (PM9)...now the wait!

So I had been waiting for Buds Police site to get more black PM9s with night sights back in stock. I wasnt sure it was ever going to happen and I was apparently down the wish list a ways so last time I had not been notified.

Woke up this morning and had a few minutes so I decided to see what was available. The stainless model with laser was available for the same price, but still not the black. I talked myself into getting it. A couple hours later I decided to check the site again because I was curious how quickly it might sell out. Lo and behold the black w/NS was now listed as available! I called back up immediately and they let me change my order.

Now I just have to relax and wait. I'm very excited about the PM9, though I have never shot it. I have shot and love both the PM45 and the MK9, so I've got a good idea what I'm getting in to.

Thanks for the forum here and all the great info. I've been lurking for a while as I've done my research and I'm looking forward to staying in touch.

One quick question - when doing the prep cleaning can I use Breakfree CLP? That is my usual cleaner/lube and it works great for everything else!

Congrats on the new PM9! I love mine.

I can't vouch for the stuff on a Kahr, but I stopped using CLP to lube my guns as it never seemed to stay on the gun for any length of time. I now use TW25B grease.

You`re OK using Breakfree.There`s nothing wrong with it and it`s not going to harm anything.I do not envy you for your wait.I would be impossible to live with.Patience isn`t my long suit.Good luck.

Congrats! Does Buds sell cheaper to police? Is that what you are referring to when you say "buds Police"?

Buds does have a LE area with officer discounts. Fireman, airline pilots and a few others qualify to buy there. Sadly being a civilian LE puke I don't qualify.

Incidently they now have a banner that their credit card billing system is fixed or upgraded so credit card purchases are once again working and apparently safe from hackers.

Thanks for the info and well wishes! Since I was not going to get it before the weekend anyway I even saved the credit card fee and sent a money order. (Since I used my not-so-secret slush fund that sits on top of my dresser this little tactic also keeps my wife from learning what I have done until it is too late!) The savings really don't add up to much, but that "much" is almost exactly one box of ammo.

Plus, there's a gun show this weekend, so I can go look for toys/accessories.

congrats, I just spoke with JR a few days ago about my recent order and he told me that the cm9 should be in soon. I did the same thing you did with a s&w 642 and a few days later the 638 was back in stock and they let me switch! Great CS IMO!

Good luck with the new gun! I checked Buds Police site and they are still not showing the 9094 available. My LGS still doesn't have my 9094N. I think Kahr is in full production mode on the CM9. Not sure how long I'll have to wait.

would be nice top know how many cm9's they can pump out in one day. I hope they don't turn the machines up a notch to increase more units and then suffer in quality control. Right now we are battingt 1000 on issue free cm9's. This gun is not really new as some would think. It is just a PM9 without the bells and whistles and this should only help as the PM9 has allthe bugs out of it.

Buds just sells them really fast. I'm not sure how many they get, but there were some 9094NA(LE) available for a couple hours Friday morning. I just got lucky and saw it. They told me that the wish list is prioritized. So, if they get 20 guns they only send out 20 wish list notifications. I managed to get one of the guns, but I still never got an email notice. One thing to look for is if you see some other new stock - keep looking because they may just be getting the web site updated.

They told me they would be getting CM9s, but since it has not been previously sold you can't get on a wish list. You will just have to get lucky and be checking the site when they come online.

Went to the Concord NH gun today and saw almost no Kahrs. I was very disappointed because I had hoped to at least pick up some extra mags.
