Hello Everyone.
I could not resist and purchased a CM9 today.
Looking forward to shooting it.
I noticed the slide stop is almost impossible to pull down when the slide is locked back.
I am sure it will loosen up with some rounds.
It is a perfect size for cc.

The slide is designed to be hard to press down with an empty mag. Take the mag out or put some rounds in it and you will notice the difference!
Enjoy the new toy!

Yes, it is an intentional safety feature to help remind you that the magazine is empty. They all work like that.

Welcome to Kartalk!
Here's to that CM9 turning out to be everything you hope for. Maybe you'll change your user name after shooting the Kahr? :) Does loving my Glock 26 also make me a Glock fan? :)

I just purchased my new CM9, and I'm glad to be part of the Kahr family. I had a chance to shoot it today. LOVE it. I ran about 80 rounds through it (thats all I had and couldnt get more before having to go to Easter dinner :) I had one FTE when I tried to give it a serious limp writs test. Other then that, no other issues and cant wait to shoot it again.

I just joined the CM9 club as well. Still impatiently waiting for shipment. Locally I picked up another 6 round mag. Also ordered a set of Pearce grip extensions since for the first few months I'll be shooting one handed, may or may not need them...we'll see. Still researching what carry ammo. I've been a DPX fan in a few other platforms, but also strongly considering the Gold Dot 124 +p. Can't convince myself the SB version is worth it, though.
Not much posting, but doing a lot of reading.
I'm familiar with a few of your members including rockin'-jocko. Looking forward to having another hang out.

Well welcome mightymouse (my childhood hero by the way). I agree with the justification of the SB stuff. I've been a Gold Dot fan for many years and see no reason to change now.
Get that new CM in hand and give us a report first chance ya get.
I'm pondering on getting my wife one. Been giving it alot of heavy thought, decided there's lots of other things in the house she could use to take me out if she gets the desire. Might as well get her something small and nice to carry around. She hasn't before but I think she might be receptive with the right tool.
Lets see a little less lurking and a little more pot stirring ya know?

Welcome to Kahrtalk!
Once your gun arrives you'll forget all about the wait. I generally carry Black Hills 124 +P in my Glock and now in my PM9. The bullet is a Hornady XTP. Out of, I believe, a 4" barrel the round gets 14" of penetration and expands to .584 shot into bare ballistic gelatin.

Thanks for the welcomes. Going on a week and still stuck in "Processing" at Buds Guns. I was hoping the hot items shipped faster. No word on when. Fingers crossed I didn't buy one of those out of stock specials.
Putting my spare mag in my hand, finger out and running around yelling BANG BANG is losing its appeal.

LOL! Mighty... I'll bet the trigger pull on that feels real smooth and light though. Ha Ha
Hang in there, it took Buds a week to ship mine, but only 2 Days in transit when it finally got to the shipper.

Go to know BEARDOG. Its going to be a lot longer if it doesn't come by wednesday, surgery rescheduled for thursday, then no driving for a while. A one armed Mighty Medicated Mouse :faint2: best stay home. Its one of those purchases my wife doesn't need to know about until I'm fifty paces from the front door. I did mention something about getting myself a get well present. She said, "whatever.. "
Looking forward to more range reports with the CM9.

Perhaps I joined the club too early. As much as everyone loves Buds, and they do treat 99%+ of their customers well, it sucks to be on the 1% that gets kicked in the teeth.
They took my money the day of the sale, a week later informed me it was in the shipping department. A few days later still no tracking info. I guess they won't tell you when they screw up, but rather wait for the customer to initiate the question. I'm one of those lucky ones that had my $$ taken, but for an item that was not in stock. Pretty amazing since this sale occurred in the early hours before opening. Now waiting for an item they don't have, and can't confirm they'll get any time soon. What a fantastic first experience with Buds. Oh well, they'll sell 500 today and 700 more tomorrow. Apparently not really important to have a bad sale now and then.

Sorry to read about your issue with Buds. Hopefully you'll have your gun soon, that'll be perfect for you and that you can put this bad experience behind you.

Guns make awesome get well presents. I have a couple I still cherish.
The "whatever"? Thats like a hurricane warning but you already know that. Better protect your other arm so she don't hurt that one.
Hope it gets there and if you get it while your still recouperating and medicated I'm sure we can find someone to transport and load for you. You can practice one hand shooting with your good arm.

Thanks! I may wait until I'm med free, but then again I might not appreciate the sting. I've been one arming it for a while, got a top heavy slap happy Beretta 9000 .40 to keep me in shape.
Wife knows better. Who would get the spider behind the refrigerator, change the oil, do the yard work, flip burgers on the grille? (beats on chest with one arm)
Buds states they have someone on it and will send ASAP.
Funny, in the meantime there available again for less.

That happened to me too with Bud's. Day after I ordered, price dropped $16. They wouldn't let me pick it up for the lower price, though I asked real nice.

Buds pulled out the stops with their customer service in making this right for me. My item was hand pulled from the incoming, and one of their people personally got it shipped next day air. As I mentioned, they also refunded the difference in price. Very well done.
Right wrist fused today. No shooting for a while, but tomorrow if wifey drives, I'll have goo inspiration to get better.

HAHA!!!! Finally... Glad to see that is under your "power."
The white 'glove' looks a little too big for you:photo:
Seriously, wish a prompt recuperation so you can then 'exercise' that wrist with your CM9. Mine have worked perfectly for the firsts 200 rds so far!!!
