Hi,

As the title says, I brought home a CM9 yesterday. This is my 2nd Kahr. A year or so ago I picked up a P380 to try out pocket carry. I really like that little pistol and pocket carry seems to work best for me. I decided I had enough room in my pocket for a little more gun, so I went and picked up a CM9 at my LGS.

I look forward to running some rounds through it this weekend. Initially (after clean & lube) the slide would hang up about 1/2 way back after being released. After cycling the gun a few hundred times it's gotten better and only does it if I release the slide slowly by hand. I assume it will resolve as the gun breaks in.

Should be a great gun.

Nicely played!!!

I really like the looks of the CM9 and it appears to be another fine Kahr weapon.

Good Luck and have many hours of fun.

Welcome to Kahrtalk!

Best of luck with your new CM9.

My story is similar with respect to pocket carry. Recently got a PM9, for pocket carry, to fit between my P3AT (Pocket) and Glock 26 (mostly AIWB) as part of my carry system. PM9 fits fine in all but a few of my pants pockets.

Thanks! It sounds purt near identical to me. CM9 fits in between a P380 and a Glock 27 for me.

I finally managed to find a little time to run 100 rounds through the CM9. I took a bunch of old Winchester, CCI, PMC & American Eagle ammo. The gun ran flawlessly for me and had not one hiccup of any kind. I don't have target pics, but my best group at 10yds was about 2-1/2".

I did my normal clean & lube of a new pistol, which is almost identical to what's listed in the Kahr prep. I hand cycled the pistol hundreds of times before shooting it as well.

I have extended range time planned for next weekend and I'll get more rounds through, but I seriously doubt there will be any issues. This is a great little gun and I expect it to oust my P380 from my front pocket in the near future.

Maybe a patek clock?

I'm starting to get worldly. I used the Patek name the other day and the guy asked me what the heck it was. I told him if he didn't know I surely didn't have time to explain it to him. Thank goodness he walked away. Didn't have much else to tell him. I'm a fake.

I am glad it sounds good. All it really means is that next weekend I planned enough time at the range so that after I've spent time helping both boys and the missus shoot there is still time for me to shoot to my little hearts content.
