I got my Traction Grips installed on my CM9 yesterday and wanted to show them off a little:) and let you guys see how they fit.
I ordered a set of PM9 grips for my CM9, Don at Traction Grips was not 100% sure they would be a perfect fit being a new model. I think they worked and look great.
They feel great, don't slip, and are very thin. I highly recommend them as they are a big improvement, but don't cost a lot. This is my 3rd gun I have them on.

Cool Bonjorno, I think you will really like them a lot...
I wanted to add, when I install them I put them on then take a hairdryer to them heat them up good and really push down hard so they really adhere.
(may not be necessary? But I still like to do it)

Are they like sandpaper or a grainy rubber?

They are grainy rubber.

I use only the black rubber type. He can make them in some wild colors/patterns too...He does have a sandpaper type also, But I wouldn't want the sandpaper type because of pocket+IWB carry, I think it would be too abrasive against your body and clothes.

No they do not cover the checkering front or back.

They cover the sides and the spots beside the front strap checkering. He includes a piece for under the trigger guard too, but I don't use it.

If I am breaking in a Kahr. Or testing ammo, and I know I will be shooting 100's and 100's of rds at a time, I may put a inner tube grip sleeve on. Otherwise, I prefer the checkering and traction grips for normal amounts of shooting and carry/self defense use. Combined they provide a very positive grip.
