Pm9?

Today traded CW9 for PM9. It is my birthday present from me to me.
Just want to verifie on MK9 outside recoil spring is held precompressed on PM9 it needs to be compressed as it is being assamled.
Is that correct?

PM9 outter recoil spring willneed some compression to get it in. remember open end of that ouotter sprng goes toward front of slide. you might want to o to the kahr tech section and hit on the kahr lube chart, it is a dandy and the propper prepping of your new kahr, it will help u alot.

Because the recoil spring assambly is different between MK9 and PM9 I tought I lost the end from the assambly.
Looking at the exploded view of the two I can see that they are in fact different.
