I picked up a Uncle Mikes #3 pocket holster and moved my PM9 from a IWB carry to my front pocket. I’ve been carrying it there very comfortably for the past two weeks. It has now replaced my LCP as my 24/7 carry. My LCP was more of a back up but with the PM9 I have no second thoughts using it as my primary or back up. I think 6+1 of 9mm is a little better than 6+1 of 380. I know jocko, I'm a little slow in my old age.

I just did the same thing, now debating on keeping or selling the LCP :)

Likewise here...I just broke in my CM9...I'll keep my LCP though...It's been trouble free since the day I bought it...I think it's a good idea to keep a reliable "drop in the pocket" 380 around...Now my PF9, that's another story...that's definitely gonna go...:D

If one owens a lcp ( I do) why peddle it, it works good, you won't retire if you sell it either, so keepit.

Old sald,: only way to not get slower in old age is to DIE NOW. I ain't ready for that, My wife and I road 300 miles yesterday, she finally got to ride her new streetglide that I had already put a 1000 mles on. We road 150 to an old amish restaurant and those fokkers were out of business. Course its not the destination but the ride, but I was damn hungry.

I hate when that happens.

I also rode, 30 miles yesterday and 25 miles the day before, but my bike did not come with a motor. It’s a Litespeed road bike, ya know, like Lance Armstrong but he rides a Trek. I used to road race but stopped a few years ago. I don’t bounce as good as I used to. Hay, I can put my LCP in my back jersey pocket when I go on those long three hour rides. We say we carry 24/7 why not when I’m riding my bike. Why peddle it? I'll peddle with it. Ha,Ha,Ha, sorry jocko.

I sold my LCP & S&W Bodyguard .380 before buying the PM9 because I decided that I wasn't going to carry anything with less power than 9mm. I haven't missed them.

Please let me know if you are going to be selling the PF9. I may be interested.

380s are guns that are carried a lot, but ain't shot much because they ain't no fun to shoot. I can shoot my Kahr PM 9 all day, carry all day, and have the confidence with a good 9mm hollowpoint than a .380 anyway. Besides the PM9 is about the size of most .380s anyway. Easy choice on which to carry.

Well since this looks like a Elsiepea reunion:), I will jump in and say I also intend to use my new CM9 in place of my LCP. I have a leather wallet holster being made for mine, and I ordered a Desantis super fly too, so I should be covered for pocket carry needs.
Old Salt, I also was biking yesterday with the CM9 in the front pocket of my cargo shorts, did maybe 10 miles on our Rail trail and I am happy to report the gun worked just fine in the pocket....
I don't think I will sell my LCP though. It is a neat little gun and I have everything for it now. 3 nice holsters, laser, mags, Brass, dies and bullets, etc... And like Jocko said you can't retire on the $ if you sell it. So it will stay and it is actually a good bit smaller and lighter then the CM9, so it may still fit better for some carry needs.
But I sure do prefer the 9mm for defensive use, and the much easier to shoot Kahr platform is a huge plus too. The Kahr is in another league IMO.

Even though I got my PM9 for pocket carry I'll be keeping my P3AT. One (and this is reason enough), there are several pairs of pants that I wear that have pockets just to small (particularly my Dickies work pants) to effectively carry and get a smooth draw with the PM9. Secondly, a year ago this month my P3AT was used in SD and got me out of a very nasty situation physically unscathed. If nothing else it has an intrinsic value way beyond what anyone would be willing to pay in dollars or trade.

Boy, a lot of LCP's are biting the dust either to be a permanent gun safe queen or put on the market. I also plan to relegate mine to the safe when the new PM9 arrives. It's not worth enough to worry about selling, and I've already bought Vickie a new gun.

Yeah, I think the current pocket .380 craze started (re-started?) by Kel-Tec has just about run its course. Seems as if pocket or near pocket single stack nines and maybe even forties is the new craze.

All the talk around here about the LCP, I looked at one yesterday at our gunshow. Never really checked one out before. It didn't increase my heart rate at all. I love Rugers revolvers but the LCP just didn't do a thing for me. My skirt didn't even move let alone blow up.

I have great confidence in my LCP. It is not a fun range gun but it is adequately accurate and stone cold reliable. I'm trying to get used to the PM9 in a front pocket but, so far, it's significantly larger and feels like a brick. I'll keep trying.

lcp rests in one of the wifes longaberger baskets, of course loaded and ready to gol:popcorn:

I'd wait to talk bad about the LCP after the competition, P380 included, also has a Texas coyote to its credit, or something equivalent.

My LCP was awful when I bought it... 1/20 failed to eject properly. That said, I called Ruger and they emailed me a pre paid label to send it in.

Now it has over 300 problem free rounds through it since its return.

I am not going to sell my LCP, when my wife and I moved back to our home town in Pennsylvania we both applied and received our Pennsylvania License To Carry Firearms. She has already taken the LCP as her purse carry.

Sold a PF9 and LCP to fund my PM9 (black with night sights). Shoots so much easier than either of the others. Don't miss the PF9 one bit. Rounds out the family: P45, P40 now PM9.
