Just got my PM45 back today from Kahr. They replaced the trigger bar. Haven't had an opportunity to shoot it yet but I am impressed with Kahr's service. I sent it to them on the 1st of April and got it back on the 11th. Pretty darn fast. :target:

Did I forget about this? I don't recall you having issues? I must have missed this one or the memory slipped a few more cogs.

Yeah the trigger wasn't resetting after I shot a round. Slide would eject the cartridge and reload another but when I went to pull the trigger, it was limp. And you know, limp is rarely a good thing.

9 oput of 10 light strikes or failure to reset is a out of spec trigger bar. Not sure how easy it is to replace, as I have never fokked with it. If the trigger system does not have to come out, thehn it ikshouldbe a no brainer. How about it GB6491, how about a picture tutorial on this. U are so so good at this stuff..

evansville, Indiana gun show this past weekend. Two people shot. one older person and a young kid. shooter was highly intoxicated. That is all I know. This is normally a pretty big gun show to..Not allthe nut cases are locked up you know.

That's a shame to hear. And you're right that not all the nut cases are locked up: plenty of them are in elected office.

Shooter took his tiewrap off his pistol put in a loaded mag and chambered a round. Trying to holstering it, it discharged. He was arrested with a .05BAC.

No serious injuries, idiots still out there....

I think I'll invoke your "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mantra on this one Jocko.
It looks like you have to drive/push the trigger pivot pin out to do it. I really don't want to mess with that if at all possible. FWIW, AEnemaBay posted a pretty good tutorial on how to dis-assemble the poly receivers: http://kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=4454

heh thanks thatis excellent. The trigger p;in isd actually held ihn on the left side by a skmall pin inbedded int ehfrkame. it is not removable. It sits right above the triggerhousing. One can see that small hole. actually that trigger pin has to force irtself past that keepper pin, and one can damage either or of the pins and then what hapens is the trgger pin will creep towards the right. A pusher IMO is needed more than a drift pin but evidently it will work both wayis. I have never touched that area, as r right, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Nict tutorial though, almost ought to be a sticky??

This sounds exactly like whats going on with my PM9 in my "failure to fire" thread......Ill shoot a round, it will eject and chamber the next round, pull the trigger and nothing.......then ill drop the mag, eject the round thats not firing, reload the mag and it fires fine......this is happening randomly but I had it occur 15 times out of 300 rounds today!
