While waiting for my Alabama Holster Co. kydex holster to arrive, I purchased a High Noon Hidden Ally. The Hidden Ally is tuckable and is made with thin leather. It is very comfortable tucked or untucked. The ride is low. The only thing I would change about it is to add a sweat shield. Since the Hidden Ally is a stocking item, I received the holster within 3 days of ordering it. This is one of the best under $50 holsters I've ever had. Forgot to mention that this one is for the PM9 with a Crimson Trace.

Here's a few pics.

Looks good. Seems to be rounded and smoothed so it's not poking ya. I like the fact that you can get a full grip on the gun. It's low but not that low.
You liked appendix carry or that was the plan right? Looks like that would be perfect for that or strong side as well being staight up.

Yes, it is perfect for AIWB.

Thanks for the first-hand report. I saw this model on their website and wondered how it would fit my PM9 with/without the Crimson Trace. Pictures are great. Thanks!

Hi,

Nice looking holster (and photography). Is that a tension adjustment screw that's part of the holster?

I don't like the idea of a sweat shield especially for AIWB holsters. Don't want any chance of on a quick draw having the shield windup between my thumb and the gun.

BTW, when are you expecting that Alabama Holster? Reason I ask is that I ordered one the day after you posted about ordering yours. My order is for their pocket holster and thought that it ought to have shipped by now.

Thanks,
Bill K.

Thanks, Bill K. That is a tension adjustment screw.

The Alabama Holster web site said orders were around 30 days. So, I'm thinking 4/20 would be about right.

Oops! I thought the only place I didn't notice things was when my wife "hides" :) stuff in the fridge?

I have a Bare Asset that I bought for a Taurus PT145 (my PM45 fits it as well) and MrsFlyr just got the same thing for her PM9.

The Bare Asset is the canted, non-tuckable version of the Hidden Ally

For the price and the fact they are stocking items, they are good deal.

I found out that my Alabama holster will be shipping this friday 4/29.

I had a the non-tuckable version of this holster, High Noon's "Mr. Softy", for years until I traded the gun it went with.
Great holsters, super light and comfortable and a price of < $30 is unbeatable ;) I should really get one for my new PM45 but I keep thinking I want a sweat shield... To get that from High Noon you have to jump up to the $100 holsters and to get black the price hits almost $200

Yeah, at one time I tried one of their "top of the line" tuckable holsters with a sweat shield. It was way too stiff and thick for AIWB. I sent it back.

You got me me thinking....I should just grab one and go with what I know works.....
On that, I have a question. Do you think the tuckable(Hidden Ally) is much thicker than the clip on(Mr. Softy)?
