I've read in several places, that Kahr's have aluminum triggers.

Hate to break the news - but the one on my PM45 is steel.

You might want to take a magnet to your own and see what you've got.

I wonder if they changed? Or if the black diamond ones are steel, while silver is aluminum.

Was surprised to see it was steel.

Seems like it would hold up alot better up on the pivot point being steel rather than aluminum.

I'll check mine soon as I encounter a magnet but I'm hoping for steel on my PM45 too.

I'd not heard they were aluminum but maybe they used to be? No idea.

This could be a case of one "online reviewer" being copied by all the rest.

Just a few quick finds....

I'm good with steel! Just thought maybe they changed it

That surely makes it look like they had aluminum triggers at one time. I surely don't recall ever hearing that before.
Everybody break out your magnets and report back.

I had also read they were aluminum, and assumed it to be so. The trigger on my PM9 looks like it (like that means anything;)).

Mine looks for all the world like aluminum but the magnet says its steel on my PM45. I forgot to check my K40 at home but I will first chance I get.

Maybe they just went on looks. It really does look aluminum. I started to call CJB a lieing sack but thank goodness I did the magnet thing before I slandered his good name. That would have been awkward.
