I see GTD is shown as Public Safety Specialists, does this allow the common resident to order from them or do you have to be associated with law enforcement? They seem to have a good price on the PM9 I'm considering so was wondering if I'm allowed to order from them since I'm just a retired accountant.

The below is from their 'Weapons Policy' page. I believe it applies to Glock but the same is true of most of their purchases. Their prices for the Glock are very good IMO.
Active and retired Law Enforcement
Correction Officers, Cadets, and Agencies
Military Personnel-Active duty, retired and reserve
EMS Personnel
Fire Personnel
TSA Personnel
Commercial Pilots
Court Judges
District Attorneys and Deputy District Attorneys
Criminal Justice Majors with proof of enrollment
State Commissioned Security Officers

That is their staterd policy, but do they practice "Don't Ask - Don't Tell"? Anybody answer this?

I placed an order for carry rounds and did have to complete their disclaimer.
I placed a check in the appropriate place when asked if I worked in Law Enforcement or was in the Security business.
While I'm not a LEO, I am in the "Security Business"-the business of protecting my family and self.
No hassles, no questions, good pricing on carry rounds.

I've ordered ammo from them online without any problems and I'm not a LEO. Plus, I was told that they sell ammo to civilians in their stores.

Give them a call. Being from NY, I can purchase a Kahr.

I recently bought my PM9 from GT at an outstanding price. When putting my order in I was not asked about my having any LE or Security association. BTW, I was very pleased with GT Distributors customer service. Emailed me when they realized that the item was out of stock, when I called them gave me an estimate of when it would likely be back in stock, emailed when it was back in stock and being shipped. Pretty easy to reach and talk to a person @ GT.

Thanks for the replys, sounds like a good place to do business with especially with a decent customer service which is almost unattainable these days. Makes for 1/2 the deal to just have a pleasant person on the other end who knows what is going on and not just reading from notebook.

I ordered ammo on the 7th and just received today my order of CCI/Speer 230-gr Gold Dot four boxes($26.99 50/box) and the same in Short Barrel five boxes $20.99 20/box from GT. I'm retired military and used my rank, USAF, Retired, along with the statement that I wasn't prohibited from buying ammo by state or local law. It was delivered by UPS and I did have to sigh for receipt. UPS usually leaves stuff at the door, by my standing request.
They do state that they don't do business with civilians, just LE/first responder/military.
I just saw this business mentioned here last week and quickly checked them out, as I needed to find something to replace my unavailable bonded Golden Sabers.
Shipping was only $5 for the order and I'm quite pleased with their service and prices.
I plan on using the SB's in my PM45 and the regular GD's in my 4" Champion and S&W 645. I like the bonded bullets.

If you search by Manufacturer, you'll see that they indicate you MUST (with proof) be LEO etc. on Glock and others. Kahr seems to be an exception. They will sell Kahr to anyone. Best prices for PM9s etc. If you don't see it, cal on items like CM9
