Ok 2 more trips out with the P380. I think these are rounds 100-150
First: WWB Rounds 1 (used slide release), and 3 = Light primer strike Round 9 Stovepipe (if I were making excuses for the gun
would mention it was sliding around a little in my hand due to a
lack of concentration after those 2 more light primer strikes
Total:25 rounds
Second: (Today). Gun still dirty after the last 25 rounds
WWB Rounds 1-25 0 problems (I did pay special attention on the
first round to make sure it was fully in battery after
chambering using slide release, it was...and gripped the little
bugger with a death grip both left and right handed
Sure is a fun gun to shoot when it works like it's supposed to. And, I'm still in the break in period. So we'll see. Thanks. To the rest of you guys that have kept me posted on your progress/issues with these guns.

Was having so much fun I went out and shot another 25 with the WWB. This time on round 21 I got a failure to eject. It didn't stovepipe and the case was very tight in the chamber. Again if I was making excuses that was at least round 71 without cleaning maybe round 96 didn't write down if I cleaned it between sessions 2 and 3. The gun is very dirty. Just trying to get to round 200 or thereabouts to see if things smooth out. Will clean it up and report on the next times out. At lest I'm not getting the light primer strikes lately.

Get through your 200 break in rounds then buy a box of Speer Lawman FMJ and a box of 50 Speer Gold Dots. Start with a clean gun and plan to run through both boxes. If you have ANY failures in those boxes, be sure to write down what ammo you were using, what happened, and note the magazine you were using when the problem happened if you have multiple magazines. Masking tape and a sharpie on the baseplate work well for temporarily numbering your mags.
If you have any failures of any kind, call Kahr for return instructions.

Native, those issues are not your fault IMO. a rond staying in the chamberdoesnt sound like shooter error. Some of ur issue as u stated could be shooter error and as long as u believe it was shooter error, than that is not the guns fault. I would go with Ljutic scenario. shoot some more, anallylze your issues as to if maybe shooter related or what.
Lifght strikes IMO are not good, You can produce light strikes if u let up fully on the trigger. be aware if possably you are short stroking the trigger, meaning not fullly letting the trigger recycle itself etc. even though the slide did its part, a short stoke is shooter rleated. Alot of times in rapid fire with kahrs it can happenb as we are to fast to wantto pullthe trigger and we don't let up on it enough to reset. This comes with more rounds down range. At this stage I am50-50 asto if maybe the gun itself has an issue. If it doesn't shoot itself out of it in a 100 more fmj range fodder rounds. I would have ahcat with kahr, document what you have done, this helps them to trouble shoot it even faster and better. Sometimes they can't produce what issues u are having but they have a knowledge of what is causing it..

I'm going to pick up 2 boxes of AE when I drive by the gunstore tomorrow. After I clean it I'll use those to finish off the break in and then some. I've got some Lawman and GD's on order and I'll give them a shot after break in and cleaning. If that doesn't work I'll probably have to introduce myself to Ian at Kahr.

IMO save that expensive defense stuff until the gun can shoot perfect fmj ammo. If it won't do that ur just spinning ur wheels witht he defense stuff..

Good advice right there. If it hasn't smoothed out with 100 AE's and 50 Lawman, the LCP will get to eat the Gold Dots.

"Cause I'm too lazy to re-read or do math, how many rounds did you shoot through the 380 before you cleaned it-especially with the WW WB? They shoot fine in my 380 now but they sure are dirty!!! I clean all my pistols after every shooting and when I shot my 380 a bunch at one range session, I ran a boresnake through it every 50 rounds.
I polished the ramp and chamber of my pistols and even though the ramp didn't look too bad, the chamber definitely benefited from the polishing. Seems to clean up easier too.
