I just bought a used PM40. The trigger pulls back with tension but never hits the release point. I had a very difficult time disassembling the gun because I could not complete the trigger cycle. It seems like the cocking cam is not going threw its full cycle. I am not sure where in the line from the trigger to the cam the problem is but I think it is somewhere in there as everything else seems to work fine. How do I solve the problem?

Thanks,

Tony

I'd call Kahr and have them send a label... sounds like something is not right. Could be spring on the trigger bar...

canu take the gun back and get your money back??If not call kahr and ask for Jay or eion. do u know how old thegun is even. a serial # wouldhelp or you can go to the kahr tech sectio and hit onit and then find the kiahr serial # and you can see how old the gun is. If it is over 5 years old kahr will not fix it on their dime.

If it is a few years old do not tell them it is used or they willnot fix it free. Warranty is good for the original owner. You have an out of spec trigger bar and the gun needs to go bac.

More than likely kahr will fix the gun foryou but yuo might have to pay postage in to them, depends on how yo handle it over the phone.
