I just bought a new Thompson TM1. I shot a box of Winchester ammo at the range last week and the rifle worked great. The problem I have is at 25 yards it groups abuot 8 inches low and 6 inches to the right.
What can I do to adjust the sights?

Stand closer to the target.

Make sure its not installed backwards. Read a couple came from the factory with backwards sights. Also check screws for tightness

The rear sight was installed backwards and the screws where loose.
I corrected this before I shot it.
I am disappointed with the quality control from the factory.
I may try and bend the sight.
I was hoping for a more high tech fix.

Check the front sight may need to be twisted to the direction its shooting to the side a little. If its shooting low, means the rear sight is too high. Try shooting it at 50-100 yards. It is a static battlesight, and believe is calibrated more out to 100-200 yards

You could go with one of these, the adjustable Lyman I put one on my 1927A1 two years ago and I love it.
