I had dinner with a client last night and she told me the left (of which she is a member) wants to change the name of Easter Eggs to Spring Spheres. Anybody up for a Spring Sphere hunt this Sunday?

One anonymous teenager on a radio talk show says an unnamed school that wasn't her own wouldn't let her use the term Easter Egg and the right goes nuts. Take a deep breath, and try to find the facts before forming a lynch mob. You would think someone burned a Qur'an or something.

Even if it is true, get a grip. Eggs, bunnies, and baby chickens have nothing to do with Jesus, and everything to do with paganism anyway. You know, just a rewrite of history.

I think this politically crap is a bunch of ****!!! These people don't have ANYTHING better to do but come up politically correct stuff and want to change it. Leave it the way it is. I do celebrate Christmas, but my PVC holiday tree doesn't require water.

I agree that some members of the Christian faith do indeed go overboard but please refrain from painting all of us with such a wide brush.I follow the Christian faith but anyone who knows me is aware that I have a wicked sense of humor along with a caring and compassionate demeanor.Most Christians are just everyday normal people trying to live a good and decent life.The views you have shown here are totally foreign to me.I`ve never heard them espoused anywhere and if I were in the presence of someone who said such an outrage,I would certainly take them to task.In every religion there are people who take things way too far and Christianity is no exception.The vast majority of Christians do not agree with the extremists who put out this sick poison and they are an embarrassment to us.But getting back to the OP,I guess since the left wants to take the word Christmas out of the public`s vocabulary it should come as no surprise that Easter would bother them as well.

typically when we think of pedophilia and priests, the majority if not all of the incidents, are homosexual activity with young males, or alter boys.

you are correct they are not the same, however, I assumed you could make the same reasoned deduction. Apparently a lack of reasoned judgment is pervasive in MA.
