This morning skipped work to finally break in my PM9.
The PM9 is a sweet shooter.
The most my hands could take was 240 rounds.
The first 50 were PMC, the next 190 Winchester (white box)
I had a total of 8 failure to feed due to the rounds nose-diving and getting stock between the feed ramp and the mag lip.
It was pretty much even on both mags (6 and 7 rounder)
It seemed to get worse towards the end, which worries me.
Is this normal and will go away or do I have a problem? Rounds in the mags appear to have too much wiggle room
Thanks

I think Kahrs are prone to nose dive until well broken in but polishing the feed ramp can eliminate that. During break in, you need to take a rag with you and after 100 rounds or before wipe the ramp from the top to see the gunk that binds.
My PM9 refused to chamber Federal HST +P 147gn until I polished the ramp and chamber lip and roof area, then even rubbed in some lube. The lube thing is that it claims to fill the microscopic pores in the metal so I rub it in. As soon as I did that it started loving the HST and feeds it without fail.

Thanks for the tip. In fact you may be right. When I came home and cleaned it up there was a big chunk of sticky gunk on the feed ramp. That chunk made me realize that break CLP is not a good solvent. Hoppes took care of it.

Thanks to me like maybe a tired shooter 240 orunds is alot. could just be your were getting tired. I think ur issues what little there are will go away. Go 50 rounds at a shooting and see how it works out,
definitely what old lincol stated is good to go also. U can't over polsih a feed ramp and chamber. kahrs does a great job, u can do even better, hopefully u have went tothe kahr tech section and hit on the lube chart and did the proper prepping of your new kahr to. all will help you get it going right. I really think 240- rounds is alot of rounds at one time.not that the gun can't take it but you yourselfr even stated "your hads could not take it". That in itself will induce issues big time. You don't know your tired but you are probalby now gripping alittle differently and things just start to happen.
stick with it, I personaly feel trhe gun is OK. limit your rounds to at leat no more than 100 and then give you and thegun a rest..
