New Person getting Gun Bug

As some of you know jlottmc who is a member on here is my husband. He took his 18 yr old brother out to the range yesterday on his RARE occasion off on a Saturday and his brother FELL IN LOVE with my Kahr CW45. He shot jlottmc's variety of pistols, my CW 45, jlottmc's Commander Length 1911, Taurus 651, and Taurus 740 Slim and the S&W SD40.

We were at church this morning and I told him I heard he had fun yesterday and he just started Grinning from ear to ear. When we were going to lunch, I asked him if he was ready to go back to the range and he said YES. Guess there will be more days when and if jlottmc and his brother are off on the same days that they make trips to the range.

And thats a very nice thing. Not a single negative in any of that that I can see. Less of course he trys to abscound with your CW. That would be a bad thing.

Myu brother has lived in komifornia for the lart 50 years. He comes back home to Indiana every year for the summer , he and his wife and staqy in a smallhome they bought. They can't get Indiana out of their blood. His biggest thrill is going shooting with me. I even bought him a MKII 6 7/8" bbl stainless. He love sit and he is not much of a center fire person but I buy him the 500 bulk pak of any 22 ammo I can find cheap at wal mart and it is nothinbg for himt o shoot 200 rounds at a shoot. he just can't do that back in komiforia without alot of hassle, here he lives in the country and we basicaly walk out his back door a few hundred yards and shoot like there is no tomorrow. For me it is nice to be able to spend this time with my brother toj, just kinda feels like to me that is what brother should do...

And that WILL NOT be happening. He's already been told he is not getting my CW. He has a few more years before he can even legally buy a pistol. He can still buy a pistol or rifle, but the problem is that he still lives with his and jlottmc's mom and she is NOT a fan of having guns in her house.

I thought it was pretty cool that they got to spend time together. That's the first time they've ever done that and I anticipate there will be many more times as years go buy that they will be going. Jlottmc is trying to get his best friend/brother from another mother to come visit in July so they will try to get out there then too.
