I shot today at a new range. Very nice and closer to home.
I spent too much time with my Neos 22 and my Sig P238, but, I did put a box of American Eagle by Federal, 115 gr FMJ thru the PM9 I just bought.
I can now confirm that :
1. It is very accurate
2. It either likes Am Eagle or is starting to break-in. Today I shot rounds 66 to 116 (or 76 to 126..sorry bad memory).
3. Wearing two golf gloves helps a lot
4. I had NO failures
I am very happy about my P238 because it shot my WWB and my American Eagle. Clearly there is an issue with S&B. Every fourth round jams, making for great training ammo. Its the worst malfunction because I have to drop the mag and rack after, twice. Oh well, I have the Kahr....and, just heard I will get my CPL on May 20 if the Gun Board likes my looks (kidding).

Don't buy no more S&B. I've never liked it either.
I'd lose the gloves and do the grip sleeve thing, makes a world of difference and you don't have to do the Hmm can't say his first name so how about Richard Tracy "stop da picture'' thing while you put on your gloves.
Save the gloves for when you get your 500 Smith & Wesson.
Glad it's doing well for ya. Should only get better and better.

I got a big section of left over neighbor kids innertube I can send ya. You don't got no neighbor kids.
You can use a ruse, tell him your gonna tighten his chain, when he's not looking stick an ice pick in his tire. Have him tell his parents he needs a new tube and that you want the old one. Done deal.
Did you get my PM reply last night?

Shot some more today. Using Lawman 115 gr FMJ. Had one jam in 75. I think she'll be OK as we pass the 200-250 mark. I did notice that there is a real training issue switching to a DAO trigger when all you know is SA. I hope to over come it with time.
I got scheduled for my Gun Board and will have a CPL (CCW) for sure on May 2oth. I need to decide whether to carry my Sig P238, which I'm shooting like I stole it or carry my PM9. Got a neat holster from N82 and also have a second one on its way from Alabama Holsters (The Offside). Heck, why not carry both. Gonna need an ankle holster then or two not so big pockets

whichever platform you decide to make your primary carry is the one you should really work with. As I get older I find that simpifying things is better. I no longer carry my beloved 1911 or my Sig DA/SA as I have thought about how I would handle making the firearm "safe" in the aftermath of a defensive use. Would I think to engage the safety on the 1911???? Would I remember to hit the decocker on the Sig???? Since I have four different "platforms" of carry guns available (SA 1911, DA/SA Sig, DAO CW9 and DA/SA revo), I no longer want to concentrate on what I'm carrying and what to do in the aftermath. It's now the CW9 for "social carry" (zero controls to remember in the aftermath) and the SP101 for daily "work duty" (also zero safeties to be concerned with).
If you carry the P238, I would suggest you train with it alot so that your muscle memory will kick in to automatically engage the thumb safety after shooting. If you shoot the Kahr at the range, always finish your range trip with a mag or two with the P238 to keep the muscle memory intact to sweep the safety.
Switching between different manuals of arms can be troublesome.
Just my onsolicited opinions.

S&B is the French sounding ammo right?
Lose the gloves, and use different ammo, one may think you're French, man up my man.

Qui, Sellier & Bellot. I switched to American Eagle. I lost the gloves. I'm Dutch. I still love chick flicks. I'm in touch with my sensitive side. :-)

Mr. Surveyor, I agree and thus my concern. Add to the mix that I am much more accurate with the little Sig right now. Its a tough call because I feel that 9mm is a big upgrade from 380...if you hit your target. Not there yet.
