I was fondling a CW9 today, and I noticed that the end of the takedown pin protruded noticeably from the right side about 1/16th inch, or perhaps a tad more. I would think it should be flush, but perhaps not. Is this normal ? I'm trying to find a 360-deg view of the gun right now to see if it shows it protruding.

It is normal.
It is like that to allow you to have something to push on to remove it for take down. If it was flush you would need a tool to push it through the frame.

Yea, its so you can use your finger to push it out.

Thanks..I found the 360-deg tool on the Kahr web site and saw that it was in fact normal. I should have seached harder for the answer before posting the question.

I have found this to be a plus when it comes time to break mine down.
