I attended this show this past weekend in Raleigh and was surprised to see that prices for primers and powder had dropped.I saw Winchester and Federal small and large pistol primers for $26.95 per thousand and 8 pound kegs of powder for $127.00. I haven`t noticed a price drop for these componants on line and it added a nice little bump to the show.Ammo prices were pretty much holding steady.
I saw some Kahrs but not many.Prices for CW40 and 45 were $349.00.PM45 was $630 and a PM9 for $570.00.
I also saw a Sig.45 that wanted to come home with me real bad but I had enough will power to resist until the next show in June,or perhaps the one in August. All in all,it was one of the best shows I`ve been to in years. The last one was horrible because it was just after the shootings in Arizona and there was a mad rush of panic buyers. You couldn`t get to the tables to see anything for all the people.Heck, you couldn`t even stand stiil because the crowd moved you along like a current in the ocean does. Not nearly so many at this show.A good turnout but not a crush. Can`t stop thinking about that Sig.Got to do some research and comparisons.

That $26.95 for primers and the powder cost is good. I'd have been all over those two items. Cheapest I can get primers for around here is $32.95.

The better gun shows here in Houston happen to fall on the days when I know I'll be out of town! Bummer.

Good luck with the Sig (HA HA HA!)

Sounds like you had a good time and you showed great self-control by not buying the Sig. How long will that last? LOL!

I'll be going to an Eastman show in June and plan to buy either a shotgun, lower receiver (AR15), or S&W .22LR rifle.
