This is probably about as exciting as reporting on the airplanes that land safely rather than the ones that crash, but I had some issues with my P380 and posted the bad, so here's the good:
Picked up the gun last night and my wife's friend came over to visit today so I took that as a sign that I needed to go out back and play. Put 50 Federal AE through it just to make sure (no problems). Then switched to Remington JHP's. Did a walk around presenting and double/triple tapping. All 50 with no problems. Then did the same with another box of Federal AE. Again no problems. So really not much different than my other PM9 so far, other than my thumb is chewed up from swiping the safety up (what were they thinking?). Oh and the mag floorplate came off while I was first looking at it wondering when Kahr had made a little extension on the magazine, and why didn't I know about it. Well they haven't, the floorplate had slid forward. Don't know what that's all about but having that spring pop up in you face for no reason is a real fun experience. It worked fine during the shooting.

Good to read your positive PM9 range report. Glad you didn't suffer any from that slipped base plate, could have given a nasty eye injury.

Great news. I know you're pleased.

Can you clarify your comment on the safety? Is yours a MA model?

Sure. Mine is the Massachusetts compliant model with the safety and loaded chamber indicator. Certainly not necessary here in my native Live Free or Die state, but I didn't have one and they were there so I grabbed one. Be more than happy to go into detail on the gun if anyone is from The Peoples Republik of Massachusetts or otherwise cares, but the safety seems to be the only difference that matters. The loaded chamber indicator doesn't change anything Quality through and through, seems to be the same on day one.

well the nice thing, is if you were looking for the standard PM9, then the safety thing even though u don't like it is there to use or not to use. You really have the best of both worlds IMO. Had they offered that when I bought my PM9 I would have opted for the safety. would not have bothered meif the lever went up or down. I couldhave adapted easily..
