I didn't clean my gun after yesterday's 150 flawless rounds as I was planning on spending the morning turkey hunting. When that got short circuited mid morning I had some time on my hands. So, I grabbed some more Remington JHP's to go with the 13 I had on me carrying the new gun on my ankle while I was hunting just for kicks (who needs a 9mm when you've got a 20 gauge pumpgun in your hand) and headed out back. The gun ate all 50 out of 2 different magazines. So, I'm calling it good to go, at least as a backup to my 10mm Glock. I'll keep anyone interested posted on further "range" (I shoot in my yard) sessions.

Darn, we absolutely hate it when the guns work as intended. (Being sarcastic, please do not flame me.)

sure sounds good to go to me. nice report. It IMO should not require cleaning at 150 rounds even to be totally reliable, although when it is my carry weapon it is clean. Our turkey season just ended here in Indiana, and the weather was a big factor in keeping bird totals down, as it just rained every dman day it seemed and was cold also.

Sorry, but a boring PM9 will not help you build character! :)
I love spring turkey hunting which I do on family property in Fulton County, PA. I truly don't care whether I call one in or not. I've been going out with either a vertical or cross bow and some reading material. I'll do more reading, meditating. praying and snoozing than calling and enjoy every minute till noon time. Afternoons are generally busy working on the property and getting set up for deer season.

I know this isn't NHTurkeyhunting.com if there were such a thing, but, I've only been at it a couple years as it falls during trout hunting season but my first two years ended with longbeards that taste really good and the beard and spur length were certainly respectable. Now time for trout hunting. Oh and Kahr shooting. As if I needed a season for that.:D

Lucky you! I am jealous of your "yard". Our neighbors are too close for that.
Oh, and . . . Congratulations on your success with your PM9! :D

just being out there for me is relaxing anymore. I hunted all my life but today I enjoy watching the deer and the turkeys around my area. I think in my younger days I hunted more to kill things than to really enjoy the hunt, maybe back then felt I had to prove something to my peers, never really thought of it that way back then either but today I can see where I did just that. Maybe as one gets older he gets wiser to..:59:

As a native of this great free state that has also lived in less free places I completely understand what you are saying. Then, in the 4 or more months that I'm clearing my 1200 foot driveway of white stuff I wouldn't mind a little sunshine that had a little punch to it.:D
